if give up green card, what happen about social security benefit and can i reapply in the future?

i have green card for many years. Due to urgent reason, need to give up green card first to obtain regular visa. If i give up the green card. What happen about my social security benefit in future. If in future I like to have green card again, is any issue?

Giving up the green card means giving up all the benefits that are derived from it.
