Once again you're exactly right...The intelligentsia doesn't want to listen or even associate with the "trailer park rhetoric" of O'Reilly. Most also know that the media of today is comparable to the tabloids. Hype and sensationalism sells the Jerry Springer trash to the uneducated and baser proletariat. Consider Rush for example. No one can consider him as an "authentic authority" on anything. These people play on emotion and the dogma of repetitive values.

What is your definition of 'conservative'?
It seems to have changed lately.
I would not call O'Reilly a conservative...I would call him a waterboy for the neocons (along with being a pompus #ss just like Linbaugh and Hannity.)
I would agree that call anyone who watches and believes the crap on Fox, CNN, CBS, etc. is an idiot.
So if you are against the major news outlets, talk radio, and on-line sites....where do YOU get your news?

Just goes to show you that you can't brainwash everyone, if you could Fox News and O'Reilly wouldn't have any viewers. Please also note that this is for the graduates that are under 30 years of age which is more proof of the brainwashing. College was not that way in my day (well maybe Berkeley)

They are not uninformed and many don't even watch Fox or get news from other sources as well. I think Fox misses a lot of news stories so I go elsewhere. There are plenty of other sources. So, really it doesn't explain a lot at all.

I think there are as many liberals watching as conservatives.
This conservative doesnt watch tv as im too busy. My news has to come by multitasking it and something else.
I dont really care for O'Reilly anyway.

I think the conservatives that you speak of are married to an ideology they do not understand.

You know, when I started watching Fox News I was pretty upset because I couldn't hear what the guests were saying. The hosts raged right over their words. So I wrote an e-mail to Fox and told them it was pretty rude of there hosts to treat their guests that way and if they didn't tone it down I wouldn't watch it anymore! LOLOL Silly me!
