"If a GOP candidate sought votes from a white group calling itself the 'National Council of the Race,' he'd rightly be shunned as a racist. But let Democrats do the same and they're called 'progressive.' The difference, of course, is that in the latter case both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were appearing before the National Council of La Raza ("The Race"), a radical Latino group. Trolling for votes, Obama pandered to La Raza's convention in Miami over the weekend, selling himself as one who marched alongside Latinos at last May 1's illegal immigrant amnesty rallies," says Investors Business Daily in an editorial. "But rather than either of these campaign tacks being political gaffes, both got favorable media coverage because the Latino community supposedly has been 'galvanized' over the loss of the Senate immigration bill. It signaled that Obama, like Clinton, buys into the idea that the bill's end was brought on by what La Raza calls a 'wave of hate' and that other American voters won't notice. The irony is that La Raza is no ordinary organization. The name, in English, literally 'the race,' is something its embattled apologists now claim means 'every race' or 'community' -- both absurd, since they both mean just the opposite of the actual word."

You forgot or didn't notice, it also means" The People".
Yeah right.
I love how the racist agenda of taking over America for "The Race" or for Aztlan, and driving us all back over the ocean lost momentum after the defeat of the Anti-American Shamnesty Bill.
Now they are all saying that they just care for everyone, peace to the world. That's not what we heard pre-vote.
If Hillary or Obama win the election it will be with the Latino, specifically, the Mexican vote.
If that happens, I hope America will stand up and refuse to acknowledge it or them as a legitimate President as we should have done when Bush stole an election.
This goes beyond party differences, this is a fight for America.
The last idiot to publicly tie himself to a racist group was David Duke and the KKK.
I hope if we were smart enough to not allow that racist in, we won't elect someone else who owes their position to another racist group who hates The United States.

Edit: Ricmon87-- I don't want to get into a P**sing match with anyone, but, how do you say we have no acurate info on La Raza.
Are you telling us that "mexicans are best" on here, all the sign toters at the rallies, and any websites such as La Voz De Aztlan are not representitive of La Raza?
Are you sure in all your wisdom that the illegals we gave Amnesty to in 1986 did not grow up to become educators and polititions who preach an Anti-American message now?
Are we to believe that the illegals who are arrested breaking our other laws and the people quoted below are just misunderstood?
I think their message is pretty clear.

"They're afraid we're going to take over the governmental institutions
and other institutions. They're right. We will take them over . . We
are here to stay." Richard Alatorre, Los Angeles City Council.

"The American Southwest seems to be slowly returning to the jurisdiction
of Mexico without firing a single shot." Excelsior, the national newspaper
of Mexico.

"We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are
dying. The explosion is in our population . .. I love it. They are
shitting in their pants with fear. I love it." Professor Jose Angel
Gutierrez, University of Texas

"Remember 187--proposition to deny taxpayer funds for services to
non-citizens--was the last gasp of white America in California." Art
Torres, Chairman of the California Democratic Party,

"We are politicizing every single one of these new citizens that are
becoming citizens of this country . . . I gotta tell you that a lot of
people are saying, "I'm going to go out there and vote because I want to
pay them back." Gloria Molina, Los Angeles County Supervisor,

"California is going to be a Hispanic state. Anyone who doesn't like it
should leave." Mario Obledo, California Coalition of Hispanic
Organizations and California State Secretary of Health, Education and
Welfare under Governor Jerry Brown, also awarded the Presidential Medal
of Freedom by President Bill Clinton

"We are practicing 'La Reconquista' in California." Jose Pescador Osuna,
Mexican Consul General,

"We need to avoid a white backlash by using codes understood by Latinos"
Professor Fernando Guerra, Loyola Marymount University

You know. . . La Raza is not as bad as you think it is. You probably don't like that fact that they are for any reform that helps illegals, such as legalizing them and you probably don't like Hispanics.

But that doesn't matter, they will be legalized in the next 3-4 years because nothing else can be done. Certainly deporting 12 million illegal immigrants will not happen, and it's a delusional idea to consider.

edit. . . . . . . .
To everyone above me, you are all delusional, it's not like that. Please, when you are able to obtain some real accurate info about La Raza, then you can talk.

I won't vote for either one. The American people will need to handle this situation of invasion on their own, very soon. Mark my words, the illegals are very patient and are working their way into every aspect of the American government, police, military, politics,...you name it, and there is a Latino in some position of power. Americans beware !

Those Democrats will say anything do anything and shake anybodies hand if they think they can get a vote. Once the vote comes they go back to doing nothing. They need to change their name to the Liar Party or the Scumbag Party.

One more reason I dislike both of them and wouldn't vote for either if a gun was put to my head!

I will never vote for a pro-amnesty candidate. Plus they are both socialists!
