Cheney’s Halliburton Stock Options Rose 3,281 Percent Last Year.....

"Vice President Dick Cheney’s stock options in Halliburton rose from $241,498 in 2004 to over $8 million in 2005, an increase of more than 3,000 percent..."

The media has routinely downplayed Cheney’s involvement and financial investment in Halliburton, one of the largest U.S. defense contractors that received supersized no-bid contracts in Iraq.

SHOULD THE Vice President of the U.S. be allowed to use his position of power to reap rewards for his former company in which he has a financial investment?

My husband's credit report states he owes a creditor $300. We've disputed the debt three times via Transunion, Eq and Ex. All three were validated. We've sent three certified letters requesting validation, and one requesting a payment address, etc. We have also called over 50 times and left numerous messages, which aren't returned. It seems like they only respond to one of the three credit bureaus, who tell me to keep trying. I can't remove it, I can't pay it. Now what???

Let Citizens Vote: "The Senate is planning to quietly hold a vote that would pardon President Bush for breaking the law by illegally wiretapping innocent Americans without warrants. According to Senator Leahy, the bill would "...immunize officials who have violated federal law by authorizing such illegal activities.

The program was exposed in December of last year, we've learned that President Bush personally blocked a Justice Department investigation of the program, Vice President Cheney also personally intervened to stop telecom companies from testifying to Congress about it, and a federal court recently ruled the program unconstitutional.9 In an effort to protect himself from further consequences."

President Bush broke the law, and courts are starting to agree. Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter once said the program was illegal "on its face." But he has now caved to pressure from Vice President Cheney."

I can't believe our leaders are actually trying to pretend these nuts in the islamic world actually have a point of view , they hate everyone...jew, christian, gay, divorced, anyone that doesn't fit there idea of "perfect".

They are the new nazi, who hide behind there so called faith to promote hate. Call it like it is...they are simple minded hate filled people. Everything they have done to protest the pope, only proves he was right (and I am not even a catholic)......please, don't follow a short man.......live and let live..

My toilet overflowed because the stem broke, and it couldn't shut off. It flooded for 30 minutes before I noticed and it soaked all of the carpets and the downstairs ceiling. I had had problems with two out of three toilets, only one was working at the time of the flood. The landlord was not willing to put me up in a hotel and she left me to stay in the flooded house for 2 days before even coming to look at the place. It had a stench like mildew and I was concerend about the welfare of my two children. I opted to move out with an agreement that she would not keep my security deposit, well guess what ,she did and some. So I sued her for my deposit and now, 7 days before the court date she is counter-suing me for all repairs and a dang screen for the window---

A British man is being held without bail on charges of stockpiling weapons and building homemade explosive devices at his Trinity County home in anticipation of Armageddon.

Mark Sherman, 26, also is charged with living in the U.S. illegally. He has been living for more than two years with a woman and her mother in their mobile home in Weaverville, a mountain community 45 miles west of Redding in far northern California.

He and the woman, Crystal Hodges, had carried on an Internet correspondence for about a year before she invited him to California. He arrived from the United Kingdom in April 2004 and stayed on even after his visitor’s visa expired that July.

Other than their lies and incompetence and how they try to change the constitution and Bill of rights

their total disregard for liberty and freedom that our liberal forefathers fought and died for.

Their disregard for a womans right to chose to do anything she wants with her own body. Republicans actually want to control peoples bodies in the name of religion and their failed values that are anti american and pro communism.

Supporting torture of human beings that is AGAINST American Values and compassion. Terrorists deserve worse than torture but we Americans should set an example because Americans ARE NOT terrorists.

What would you say is tha main factor?
