I mean they are supposedly God's chosen people... they are supposed to be his example to the rest of the human race... members of their community financed the NAZI thus the holocaust... they turn their noses up to the rest of us human beings... they sold Africans into slavery... I mean they lynched blacks in the south... not to mention they brought heroin from Germany... as well as many other things that I will not mention in polite company.

I live near the border, the schools in my local communities are predominately students of Mexican ethnicity.

Under Bush’s “No child left behind” the schools are failing with their low test scores.

I went to school down here, immigration is a big problem, MANY students don’t speak English at all.

I believe the schools are failing mainly because of students who do not speak English.

Some schools do pass, but they are in the upper-class “white” neighborhoods.

School in Mexican-American communities are being punished for immigration problems that are out of the school district’s control.

What should be done?

Why do you think the schools are failing?

I'm mean, it pretty much gives Homeland Security the ability to arrest or kill anyone carrying a bottle of liquid and it comes at a time when the powers that be seem to be trying to start a large scale conflict in the middle east.

I take lots of photos of my local area recording the changes. This could be suspect to those who don't know what I am doing. If one could register with with police and have a reference number this could be given to any police officer to check to confirm I am not breaking the law. The photos could be useful to police as well if a crime takes place in the area I have been photographing

We were a group of people watching news after a recent catastrophe (where many people died).
Then someone suddenly asked, sincerely, why only under certain circumstances, some people get a beautiful memorial ceremony while others don't.
Here is an example:
A middle-class tourist dies in a huge natural disaster. He has been previously unknown for the gerenal public but since many many people died in the same disaster, there is a ceremony held and a respectful silent moment in the airport/harbor/any place relevant. His family gets help and aid from the state.

Similarly, a middle-class person is fixing a television in his house when he dies because of an electrical shock. He also has a family but since he "dies alone" he doesn't get such memorial. Was his life "less worthy"?

If a loved one dies, isn't the situation and sorrow same for both of these families?
I believe there might be an explanation and I would be thankful for any replies. (My Q is not meant to be provoking)
