My brother and I have a couple friends that are cops in our home state. One of them told my brother that if you write the check to the city to pay for the citation and you write it for a couple bucks more than necessary, the city will issue a refund check, and the violation won't go on your record until you cash the check (and the idea is you don't cash the refund check, so the violation isn't on your record). Is this true? I live in another state and I just got a ticket, so I'm wondering how NOT to get the points on my license.

in the last 8 years,117 palestinian pregnant women delivered their babies in the OPEN AIR at israeli check points cause israelies wont let them pass to go to hospitals and 36 of the newly borned babies died,
and a palestinian women prisoner in an israeli jail, delivered her baby in the jail hospital with HANCUFFS in her hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How come after things like these ,ppl here say that israelies r nic and have good human rights record???
how nic the israelies r,how nic their human rights record!!!
p.s:I'm sure that some israelis will try to deny these facts as usual,but all these things r true & r listed in a report sent to the Arabic human rights commite yesterday.

can tell what a child of 6 years did to be killed by an enemy bullets? till when the world will be silent for what Sahuoun(Israel) doing to poor people in Palastiane? a kid of 6 years got killed infront of his house while he was playing???????? come on wake up people, see what is going on in other part of the world! and America who attaked Iraq and preparing to attack Iran is just supporting Israel, where is the justice? where is democracy????????? and don't say Muslims are terrorists and should be vanished! ask Rashel Corry' Family how did she get killed and by whom, she was a christian.

It appears to be a desparate act to recapture Bush's right wing base. Hopefully there are some rational adults in the House and Senate that know better than to write discrimination into the Constitution. For you to whom religion is the key issue here: what about the Americans who are agnositc? Are you going to impose your religion on them as well?

I was... Surprised to have to pay just under 15% of my total gross income to federal taxes this year. That's not even including the state taxes I paid, in Massachusetts. A religion costs less than that, they only want a tithe! The money seems to be getting squandered, or else just STOLEN.

Who Else is tired of being ripped-off by the government? Who else wants the government to keep their FILTHY hands off our money? Just giving it away to their special interest friends? Please do explain... There is more going on here than I understand....

Please give me examples of how you feel towards the government's insane spending politics. How could it be better? How can we, the people, reform this deplorable situation?

The senate will probably vote this week on the repeal of estate tax. If estate tax is repealed or even partly repealed then the 200 richest familes in the US will benefit greatly. At the same time 65,000 citizens, mainly children, will lose health insurance due to reductions in Medicare. Does this reinforce the view that US society is driven by greed and self interest.
