GOOOOOOD JOOOOOOB MAN,
i'm very happy with ur logic, and most of the ppl who answered till now couldnt defeat ur logic, they r all just repeating words they heared in their zionist controlled media like pirots, they even cant convince themself,so they sounded funny.
Why do americans think they r better than others ,and they have the right to tell others do this & dont do that,
Even if Iran want to have nuclear weapons,so what?
america and israel & others have tons of them, america used it before cause japan attaked PH with REGULAR WEAPONS so u went and droped 2 NUCLEAR bombs over them kiling and effecting millions of ppl till today (why the second bomb???isnt one enough),and used depleded uranium in the war with Iraq, and threatened too many countries including Iran,
If the Iranian president talked about whiping israel, also america already whiped Iraq&Afghanistan and occupied them .
american gov is a TERRORIST gov,and the us president is a radical person and he said before that this is a crusaid war,so he is a terrorist and not stable also.
america is detaining innocent ppl (&kids)in illegal jails with no trial, which is the same brutal acts of the third world countries which america is using as an excuse to attack & invade them
The core of the american military power is the nuclear arsenal, and without it ,america cant win a war even if they didnt use it,the threat of having it&the ability to use it while the other part dont ,is enough for america to win,and thats why america dont want anybody to have these weapons.
So please guys,i know there is a lot of nic americans, and maybe the majority r,,but they dont care about whats happening in the world they just listen to what the gov want them to beleive & beleive without thinking, and also the phobia of 911,made them beleive that any body who dont agree with there cruel foreign policy is a TERRORIST,and thats not true:)

If you wish only to have nuclear power for electricity, the option is very clear: CANDU reactors which do not use enriched uranium. That, unfortunately, is not the option Iran seems bent upon pursuing. Instead the brinksmanship, the running up to the edge and yelling at each other, that both Iran and the United States are engaging in may well yet lead us into a "nuclear exchange."
There are those already in the Bush cabinet who daily pray for the end of the world so that their vision of Jesus' return will happen. Those people want this exchange of explosions and devastation.
There seems to be on the Iranian side fundamentalists of the same stripe who wish to see the world destroyed, cleansed by fire, especially Israel. That is how it seems to the Western eyes.
Since the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan by the US (with Great Britain and Canada's aid), the Western world has done much soul searching. We have tottered on the brink of world war several times. We came very close during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Despite saner forces in the West, the paranoid get sold weapons of mass destruction by weapons manufacturers.
I agree it is hypocritical to say that this nation or that nation cannot have atomic weapons even though the atomic weapon club now includes Pakistan, North Korean, China, many parts of what was the Soviet Union, Libya, Israel, India, the US, Great Britain (must be some other folks I am missing). Still, I worry about a government (including the United States) if it becomes run by a religion having the power to annihilate the entire world.
I have seen people burned to death. I have smelled their flesh cooked to the bone. I have heard their cries. I know what the insides of people smell like. Those things of combat never go away. I also know what radiation does to people. I teach this. It is a horrible way to die. Nothing heroic about surviving the blast and heat only to die 45 days later of the radiation effects. Do you wish this for your family, friends, children?
I want ALL nuclear weapons destroyed. All of them. I am appalled that anyone wants them.

Fist of all, we did NOT destroy Japan with nuclear weapons! We did use them on 2 cities, yes. What the end result of that was it ended a war that otherwise would have lasted for years longer, and the number of dead would have been millions more. Also, if the war would have kept going on, we would have destroyed Japan, all of it, not just 2 cities!
We have NEVER used them since either!
What problem do we have with Iran using nuclear power for generating electricity? NONE. But, considering your president (or whatever) wants to make nuclear weapons to destroy another country, how can we NOT try to interfere? As you say, we have to live with the fact that we DID use them. No one else should have to share our guilt.
Just one more point, you sit there accusing the USA of destroying a country with nuclear weapons and say how huge a crime it was, yet Iran wants to do the same thing!
My feeling is, go ahead, make some, but if Iran ever uses one, they will have to face the consequences. It wont be a pretty sight either, and there is no way any other country could NOT be against you.

Iran is a known radicle country and it is not only the USA that dont want Iran to have nucular but many other countrys, If Iran was to have nucular bombs they certianly would end the world,
that country is very unnerving and would not hesitate to use such a weapon, I say keep the weapons of mass destruction out of radicle hands, some countrys do have them but know enough to not use them,
Add; The USA and Russia has downsized thier weopons and do not intend to use them, also japan started the war in 1945 with attacking pearl harbor killing thousands at one time, The usa ended the war and saved many more lives than were lost to begin with, the whole world should have peace w/o the worry of terrorism but unfortunatly thats not the way things are,
Bin laden started all this middle east war and the whole world will end it w/o nucular weapons

Living in a country like Iran, you probably don't get any other perspective than what the Mullahs allow you to have. The president of Iran has REPEATEDLY stated his desire to wipe Israel off the map and has visions of armegeddon.....not what most sane people would consider a rational person. If Iran wants to use peaceful nuclear technology, they have been offered help with that, but so far they have refused. Iran is also one of the leading sponsors of terrorism.
The U.S. used nukes against a country (Japan) who attacked us at Pearl Harbor. By dropping the bomb, Truman saved many more lives than were lost.
The U.S. government and most people in the U.S. have nothing against the Iranian people, my neice has an Iranian father. It's the thugs in charge that have and will continue to make your lives miserable.

Why the ignorant diatribe against America? You have some cognitive dissonance problem?
If you are talking about Iran, with a terrorist regime running it, then, if you removed your head from your anus, you would have seen that the EU and the UN also have a problem with a bunch of scumbags like the regime in Iran having nuclear weapons.
Iran is not building nuclear power plants, they are building nuclear weapons plants. To believe otherwise, is to believe in the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny.

Iran has openly stated that they have a desire to wipe another country off of the planet. THAT is the reason you and your people shouldn't have nuclear weapons. Your country is much to aggressive and unstable. It is a terrorist state and lacks maturity. It isn't "just" America it is the entire UN security council. When your country has the ability to conduct it's self in a peaceful non-threatening way the world just might consider giving you what y ou want.

I do not know of the Iranian citizens, (I assume you're in Iran) but what I do know is that time and time again I have seen that your President lacks the moral or mental responsibility to control--ok, semi-control because the ayatollah is more powerful--nuclear weapons! He has openly declared war on the Israelites and on the Sunni Muslims! I will not stand for such injustice, and we will shove diplomacy right up his ***!
I'm sorry your country isn't stably controlled. Maybe a coup?

At what date did your history lessons begin? August, 1945? When we launched that unprovoked attack on Japan?
Wake up!
And no, I don't care if Iran has nuclear power. But unfortunately for you, I'm not the one in charge.

I'm not America, but I do have a problem with any country that wants to have nuclear weapons. My country hasn't got any, of which I'm glad.
