Saying all muslims are terrorists is akin to saying all ex-military are terrorists (remember OK City?). There are those who like to judge the group aw a whole by the actions of a few. Just as an example, I am a Christian, but don't put me in the same camp as the warmongering, intolerant, hate filled pseudo-Christians that are running rampant in our country. Just because I am an American, don't assume I support everything our government does.
I subscribe to the liberal philosophy, but that doesn't mean I'm pro-choice or pro-gun control. It's easier to judge people based on their religious/political beliefs or the color of their skin than on the quality of their character. Some people are just too lazy to put in the effort.

First of all, who is "they"? I don't think what is being said is that "Muslims are terrorists", but "terrorists are Muslims". There is a big difference in that. The first implies that all Muslims are terrorists, and the second that all of the terrorists have been Muslim.
Unfortunately, thanks to bin laden (AND others that preach hatred), the Muslim religion got a bad rap. I think the religion needs to do a little house cleaning and clear itself, otherwise its always going to be seen (from outsiders) as a religion that teaches hatred, and killing.
What amazes me is these terrorists claim to be religious, but they go around killing! Makes me wonder who they really worship, God, or the other guy, Lucifer.

Because muslims are involved in most every terroristic event around the globe. If you're offended, then maybe you can start up a grass roots effort to stop the terrorism. Begin in Mogadishu, where the muslims claimed victory over the city, after a very long blood bath.

9-11 portrayed that muslims are really bad ppl. But lets hold on for a sec and think..
Alot of killings have happened in the past which didnt have anything to do with muslims , mainly christains were involved. Take a look at the british colonial histroy and their barbarism , no one said ever said that every one should be really afraid of ALL the christains.
Rational non-emotional thinking requires us to dive a bit deep into the root of the problem i guess. Its just like with black ppl in the states. They are and have been notorious BUT have you killed all the black ppl or started to hate each one of them because they are black? It wasnt untill recently that black ppl were seen as real ppl at all.

What Cricket said- adding that the terrorists are not true Muslims, but those radical fanatics who just hate everyone and everything-
and surely I'm not the only one who remembers the 1980's. This did not start on 9-11-01.

That's simple...
Many terrorist ARE Muslims.
If a bunch of guys in ORANGE SPORT COATS, started performing TERRORIST ACTS, everyone would be suspicious, and there would be an association drawn toward people similarly dressed.
Look... There are WACKOS in every sect. But MUSLIMS, you got to admit... have a corner on the market.
Christianity use to be like that, (holy wars and such) but they GREW OUT OF IT. Many MUSLIMS (and I've spoken with these "people") actually think its NOT ONLY OKAY... but HOLY to KILL a NON-BELIEVER.
That's isn't a religion... its Barbarism.
Non Radical Muslims do little to distance themselves from these Clowns... so... There you go!

A very large percentage of terrorists ARE Muslim. I don't know why peaceful Muslims don't do anything to offset the negative light the extremist Muslims cast on you. I never see how peaceful Muslims are speaking out against the terrorists.

I guess it comes down to everyone needs someone to blame.
There always has to be a bad guy, and unfortunately after 9/11 that position fell on the Muslims of the world.
Which is a sad indictment on our world.

I only say the extremists muslims like Osama, and Al Quiada. I never ever have said or heard anyone blame the normal muslims. Why do they keep asking that in here? Maybe you hear the young kids talk like that because they slam almost everyone in answers, except pretty girls. lol
