i got a pony about two years ago... we found him after looking for 6 months... he was not the pony i set out to found but the moment i saw him i new he was the one. he had no propper schooling.. never been to a show before and very young, i was not very experienced and i had him for a year befor we started shows... from being disqualified at the first jump to winning both classes 3 shows later he has really become a huge part of my life. i am 14 and at the end of the year i go into juniors and have to get a horse... i only have him for one more year and i really dont want to sell him... he is my gaurdian angle he always puts a smile on my face.. when i first got him no one showed real interest in him and now every one is interested i really love him and no i can choose who i sell him to and he will make a huge difference in their life but i dont know if i can say good by its really hard and i cry when i think about it... help

i have a 10 gallon tank that i dont want to put fish in... not big enough for anything really and i have two other fish tanks. i dont want little furry animals as i have cages for them if i wanted one. i wanted fire bellied newts but i can find any in the pets stores i go to-will not set foot in petland and wont buy/support petcetera. i saw fire bellied toads today but i dont really care for the live food thing-i read the newts could eat frozen thats why i liked the idea. i wanted something for beginners that are not too hard to look after. i have not had any kind of luck with ADF so maybe i should stay away from that type of animal altogether?? anyone have any other ideas??? or if anyone has had or has the toads before what do you think of them?
thanks!

Our 2 1/2 year old female cat just passed away. She grew up with our 3 1/2 year old male cat, whom we had about 1 yr b4 we introduced the younger cat. The younger cat passed about 1 week ago. My husband really wants to adopt a dog. How do we go about choosing a dog that would go well with our cat? Puppy or 1yr + ? We also have 2 young children. Any resources or advice would be very much appreciated!

My daughter is 13 years old and wants to be a vet. She is taking chemistry, physics and biology at school. She knows that it helps to have had some experience with animals before applying to universities. Can anyone provide advice as to how and where she can get experience at her age? And what would be the most useful to become a vet?

The horse I ride gets bored in her stable and I'd like to stop this boredom before she develops vices. I thought maybe a ball hanging from the roof or something similar would help keep her amused. Do you have any other suggestions for horsey toys?

I am taking care of my parents rabbit for the next months until I can find another home for it. The problem is that I live in a townhouse and the space is actually very limited on where I should keep her. I don't have a yard so I can't keep her outside.
Right now, I have her in a cage but I'm afraid she doesn't have enough room. My roomate is also concerned about sanitation and is afraid that the rabbit will stink and make a mess on the floor. Most rooms are carpeted, with the exception of the kitchen and the bathrooms. How often should I let the rabbit out of the cage to stretch her legs?
Any suggestions?
