but i think a przewalski horse or tarpan

Tarpan was hunted to extinction in the 1800's (stupid humans again) but people breed them to get similar looking animals. Przewalskis are still very much alive and are becoming very popular. They are the only true wild horse left anymore. mustangs in america are only ferral because horses were never originally in america. with the help of breeders hopefully Europe will once again hold przewalskis and they will roam wild again, in fact I believe some have just been re-released back into the wild.

Przewalski's Horses are (or were) extinct to the wild, but still live in capitvity. Tarpans are extinct and no longer exist on this planet, but people have bred horses to create a simailar creature.
