Hamster wheels are a big favorite. Hidey houses, they love to move them around their cages. Tunnels are always fun, but not too many because it's difficult to clean and your may start sleeping in them. Um, you can get a taller cage so it can run between levels and climb higher on the bars. Also, you can play with it, too during hte evenings. You can put wood blocks and sticks and salt licks. Give him treats or better yet hide them around his cage so he can find them. You can get the toilet paper and paper towel cardboard rolls and let him run in them. Put him in his hamster ball and let him race with other hamsters or go solo. Make him an obstacle course on the floor. Hope this helps. =D

if your hamster is looking bored, try buying a storage bin of plastic. Fill it about 5 inches of dirt an d 3 inches of shavings. Take a piece odd sturdy cardboard and hot glue it to the side of the cage for a new level. You just need to make a little ladder thing for hem to climb up. its really fun and she will love it. You can also use toilet paper rolls, juice containers, paper balls, she can use small cardboard boxes for a little shelter in her cage. Hamster wheels and exercise balls are a big favorite. she may be bored because shes sleepy. My hamster is half nocturnal. She wakes up at 2:30am and goes back to sleep at 6pm. The Best way to help them is to handle them. Pick them up and let her crawl.

Things to nibble on...wood blocks...salt licks, things of that nature. Do you also own a wheel for your hamster? Make sure you get a large wheel as they typically do not fit in the smaller ones meant for mice. Do you have enough bedding for the hamster to burrow? Hamsters like at least 3 inches of soft bedding. They also like if you shred an old t-shirt into thin strips and provide that for them in their cage. They can gather up the strips of fabric and make their own nest with them. Have you tried playing with your hamster.

Getting the hamster out of its cage and into one of those balls to roll around and explore your room is nice.

You can also place your hamster, out of its ball, on the top of your bed. Place toys and treats around your bed so he can run around and explore. Be very careful to not let him jump off your bed! Hamsters have poor eye site and have no concept of heights. Your hamster could injure itself jumping off of your bed...he could also get lost by quickly running and squeezing under your door never to be caught again. So be careful! Good luck!

If you try all this and your hamster still looks "bored" maybe he is not bored at all. It is possible that your hamster just likes to rest in the evening from being active all day.

Get it a car with a wheel in it. My hamster LOVES IT... It begs me to let it out so it can run in it again... (He scratches on the cage when he's ready to come out)

Get an exercising ball. they're great and hamsters love them. in the event that they're nevertheless bored when you get the ball, positioned them interior the ball and roll it like a bowling ball. they gained't be bored anymore.

why dont you play with ur hamster instead of using all those toys to cheer it up. pick your hamster up, hold it in your hand n let him crawl around your hands. NEVER HOLD UP A HAMSTER BY ITS EARS. put it on your palm, beware that hamster do bite as their teeth grow. i used to let it crawl on the floor and while he reached the limit, i picked him up and got him started on another way. it's fun to see hamster walk around . it might sound silly but i used to put my hamster on my palm n bring him outside for fresh air. just like walking a dog. and i fed my hamster with all the food, e.g fruits, rice, but never creamy or oily things alike. just something animal will eat. that's all. hope you enjoy with ur hamster!!!

there are all sorts of things you can buy and make like cut up carot, lettuce and cucumber and make a hole in them in the middle, tie some string between and theres a toy or add in simple things like loo role tubes. If you go to a pet shop they sell all sorts of toys but if i were you i would buy toys and play with her for longer!
