well. i only had my rabbit for almost a year , now i see his furs are falling out. But i was wondering , is its maybe because the weather changes. so .. whats your adives? (:

I have a hamster and up until today he was a healthy. he would eat run on his wheel and in his ball. But today he was acting really unusal. typically when holding him he would fidget and try to walk away or something but today he was moving so slow and even fell asleep on me. I also noticed that hes sleeping in random places. typically it was in his little igloo but now its random places. He's kinda fat too. I just dont want him to die and i dont know what could be wrong.

She is bleeding out of her nose, an has no stregnth to move. She was not injured in any way. She is in the cage with another rat and the other rat isnt sick. There both females and ive had em just over 2 years....Is this a common way for them to die, or should i be worried about some disease that me or my kids could catch also

We don't think it is an allergy since we have changed the bedding and it doesn't help. She has had a little red spot on her nose for months but now it has gotten bigger, scabbed, and now the scab fell off and she has blood on her paws. Our other gerbil seems fine.

I have a female mini rex and I was just wondering if anyone else has trouble with them being stubborn. She is due to kindle a litter today and she has pulled fur and made a nice nest in her box but she is sure procrastinating. Last time she did everything right except she had them on the cage floor and they got hypothermia and died. Please let me know some of your experiences. Also she has red urine...its not blood she has already been checked by our local vet. How can I fix this or is it just something tired to the breed?

I have a 5.5 yr old rabbit that has been seen by the same vet for his entire life. We moved recently and took him to a vet near where we now live and she informed us that our rabbit has probably been in alot of pain most of his life.. she knew this as soon as she looked at him, We are just wondering how accountable a vet is/should be required by law in the proper caring of an animal! Thank in advance!
