he just tries to do his job? I watched that video and heard his explanation and it makes sense. If I had someone spit at me, kick me, grab my nuts, claw at me, etc. I would likely beat the living sh*t out of them too.

People are such hypocrites. They want police to protect them, soldiers to fight for them, yet when there is an extreme case they give all the benefit of the doubt to the victim. Hey, sometimes it's true, but in this case I think the media is blowing it out of proportion. You can see her kicking him in the groin at the bottom of the stairs. He claimed he punched her in the shoulder to weaken her striking arm so they could handcuff her. There were other cops there too trying to subdue her. What about the cars she trashed outside when the bar owner kicked her out and the fact she kept going back in causing trouble and being violent? I'm getting sick of media portraying what they want to sell a story. What ever happened to sticking with "just the facts"?

All the anecdotal evidence points to the fact that Patrick Mercer is not a racist, so for him to make such a statement concerning black officers seems strange. Is this simply a media propoganda exercise to make it appear that David Cameron is a Strong uncompromising leader?

(not counting the world wide web, as that has no physical location) .

Do please try to say something coherent, and back it up w verifyable facts, references. "Because I said so" is a laughable excuse for a debate position.
