Yes, the very people supposedly pushing for equality, are the very people who keep referring to ethnic background when a crime is committed, particularly serious crime. I have concluded, therefore, that they are the true racists, because they have a vested interest in keeping 'racial profiling' alive and kicking. Probably, their job, sources of funding etc. depends on it, or, perhaps, it supports their left wing agenda. This sort of thinking applies to other, so called, minority victim groups as well.
As human beings, we are not programmed to be told how/what to think. And, by drawing attention to differences, you keep them alive.

The media feeds on sensationalism.. this is what sells papers, its not whether colour has anything to do with crime.
Its about who is reporting it and the person's individual psyche and about how much public attention one can obtain from a particular situation, be it good or bad!
It also speaks to the bigotry in the minds of the society as a whole as they tend to think that no one knows what they are really thinking!
Example the front bench in the Conservative party I think he voiced the opinion of his entire party... only he had the "cojones" to come out and say what he thought!
Racism is a deep seated issue in the minds of white British people ( not all of them, just most!)..

i completely agree with you... i dont know if you are uk..but a good example is the 15 yr old in scotland murdered by a different race..it was a sickening murder and they got tougher sentences beacuse of the race element...the sentence shouldnt be higher because of this it should be higher because of the barbaric crime anyway. to my mind the criminals who perpetrate these crimes are just as bad if theyve done it to a white or coloured man

u kno thats a good question but i think its because they dont want black on black crimes or white on white crimes and so on but more so they dont want another rrace against a different because most people today wether they admit it or not are racist and they take theyre feelings or emotions out on the person of another race if that person happens to say something they dont like

The media is keeping racial issues alive and well.
You're right, color doesn't mean squat in these scenerios.
