Would you be more inclined to watch Katie or Diane as a news anchor?

Consider a story you read in your newspaper today. How would that story be different in another paper? Is that story biased at all? Take a step back and consider whether the story is factual or opinionately influential. Regardless, do you trust it?

Doesn't have to be just about TV. Any answer about propaganda in magazine artiles or advertisements, TV commercials, newspaper articles, brochures, flyers, or political cartoons would be perfect.

I seem to think that all the time and money that is spent on making a movie about 9/11 could go to the families, or spend time counseling them. Why is it that big movie studios think that this is a good idea? Am I wrong? I am open to new ideas, and opinions.

I was watching CNN and wondering how much the anchors earn, especially Richard Quest.
Any idea?

I was just wondering if we still have to goto the middle east and give support after we cut back our dependency on oil. My guess is by the year 2010 we will have cut our oil use to more than half. With new improvements and modifications to an already existing flying car. As some people already know the skycar's already been built and tested. You can even visit their website at moller.com (search their site they have a neat download to test fly the skycar). With the many engineers we have now i bet they can modify that thing into Semi-Truck payloads.

...and why?
I buy The Sun and the Guardian through the week and The Observer on Sundays.
Strange combination I know, but in my defence I read The Sun for the sport first thing in the morning, and read The Guardian in the evening.

I read the Daily Telegraph and mostly share their opinions. My partner No.3 reads the Daily Mail which forms his opinion.

With all the bad news on T.V. I think there should be a news channel with nothing but good news so people can be happy about at least one thing a day. Example today on the news (in between the bad news) there was a story about 14 endangered sea turtles that were saved last fall. They were reabilated and released in Mass. Things like this should be on everyday. There are millions of things being done around the world by people why do we always have the displeasure of hearing all the bad and only one good thing? Let's report the good. Let's forget about glorifying all the bad and lets glorify the simple good things (feeding the hungry and helping the poor, helping our enviroment, and treating everyone and everything with respect.) no matter how small.

I need to find publishing stats on specific markets.

Example: pets, gift books, cats, children's books, etc.

Or possibly an annual "best seller" list other than the usual popular fiction and non fiction.

I need to fill in these blanks: Last year approximately $________ was spent on gift books about pets, _____ % were specifically about cats and kittens.

The religious and inspirational market topped last years publishing records at $____________.

Children's books with bright photos of pets continue to be a good seller. Parents purchased over $_______________

See... that kind of thing. I am slogging thru websites that are more geared toward Federal, Business, Stock Market. NOT what I need.
