It's such a turn off and I ussually will not consider the mag just out of spite.

It is a trick to get you to buy, these companies are incredible stupid. People usually feel offended and then dont buy.

Don't ever fall for that if it's a Reiman's publication! My goodness. I got my one free issue a year ago and they are still sending me hateful letters demanding that I pay for my subscription which I never subscribed to or received. I wrote them and told them that I would not be a victim of their mail-order blackmail and then threatened to report them to any and every business bureau for their devious tactics.

lol, that never happened to me, however, when i sign up for those things, they send the free issue, but then they bill me, so i just ignore it.
