Doesn't have to be just about TV. Any answer about propaganda in magazine artiles or advertisements, TV commercials, newspaper articles, brochures, flyers, or political cartoons would be perfect.

The portrayal of the soldiers' experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan as a losing battle, as helpless, and as an evil presence is propaganda aimed at undermining the current administration (who is NOT a blameless administration!) But let's at least keep the facts straight.

Other current propaganda was that which was aimed at Israel as the bad guys in their latest military action. Let's look honestly at the events that led up to that action. If India had engaged in those (Hezbollah's) actions against Pakistan, or if France had done those things to Germany, nobody in their right mind would have grumbled against Pakistan's or Germany's right to respond aggressively to an act of war. But because Isreal was involved, it turned into international propaganda against the right of Israel to defend its borders.

Also, mindless propaganda aimed at claims that the US is in the middle east to steal oil. Give me a break! Yeah- THAT must be why I'm paying more than ever at the pump!
