The Times to see what's worth printing and then if I want further details, The Daily Telegraph. Nothing to do with politics, I just want accurate journalism, so I can make up my own mind.

The Daily Mirror, Guardian, The Times, The Observer and The Independent. Great variety.

I buy the Guardian because it isn't owned by a multinational and the News of the World on Sundays. I also read Pravda, the Washington Post, the New York Times, The Peoples Daily and Granma on the web. Strange combination too, and I have no defence.

The Mail & The Telegraph, and if there's a headline that appeals I'll buy anything else, EXCEPT The Sun, Star, and Mirror and News of the World...
I always buy my local evening paper... because I used to be their trade and industry writer way back, sorta have a soft spot for it:-)
I won't read the Guardian, either... it's a teacher/social worker paper. I had a quarter of a century of that rubbish in my house... with my ex... and have seriously bad memories of everything about local authorities, since he was a Social Work Area Manager!
It's too politically correct... full of c**p... with too much positive discrimination... its contributers are the very reasons why, we have the problems in society, that we have today!

Depends on where I get my fish n chips. The red tops don't leak the vinegar as much. The daily Star is best for collecting scratchings in.
The Guardian does not spill the beans. The News of The World is great for a battered morsel. The Daily Mail leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. They say that the times on Sunday has a certain je ne se quoi for connoisseurs of good taste but our chippy is closed on the Sabbath.

Hmm...after the Hillsborough disaster, when the Sun decided to turn on Liverpudlians, it was right that most of the inhabitants of stated city blacked the newspaper...but the minority (or was it the opposite?) said they '...only read the Sun for the sport', despite the poison coming also from the sport pages. Indy/Indy on Sunday...by the way. On the net...Eastern Evening News (for Norwich)...rukidding - who is the Phila. Inquirer biased toward?

I tend to stick to the Guardian and Observer. Though I do buy the Times on occasion (my husband prefers the Times crossword)
