Following is a partial copy of an e-mail which is flying around.
Responses received say that Denzel did not write a check.
What is the truth?

While Denzel Washington was visiting BAMC, they gave

him a tour of one of the Fisher Houses. He asked how

much one of them would cost to build. He took his check

book out and wrote a check for the full amount right there

on the spot. The soldiers overseas were amazed to hear

this story and want to get the word out to the American

public, because it warmed their hearts to hear it.

people are being killed in Lebanon by ısrael and the other governments are just looking this war.. ı am not lebanese or ıraqi. ı am trying to understand the reason of this war. ıf Israel are attacking for hizbullah why they are killing innocent people.. babies are being killed. Iraq is living same things because of America.. ı think most of people have seen the tortures ın ıraq.. what is the mission of united nations_?what is it doing_? these slaughters must be stoped but when ı do not know. MAYBE at the end of the world..

My neighbor and a good friend just came back from Iraq war - they came to visit me last night - and my tv was on CNN - they came and asked me not to watch this violence and war war and war and blood on TV - we need peace and love....what's going on with this news media??? Reuters sacks Beirut photographer

Images of smoke in Beirut have been widely used during the conflict
The news agency Reuters has withdrawn from sale 920 pictures taken by a photographer after finding he had doctored two images taken in Lebanon.
Bloggers first spotted that smoke on Adnan Hajj's image of the aftermath of an Israeli air strike in Beirut appeared to have been made darker.

A Reuters investigation confirmed this and also found two flares had been added to an image of an Israeli jet.

Mr Hajj told the BBC he denied doctoring the content of the images.

He said had tried to clean dust off the first image, a shot of buildings in a suburb of Beirut, on which Reuters found smoke plumes had been darkened and expanded using computer software.

"It was so badly done - an amateur could have done better," Bob Bodman, picture editor at the Daily
