what your oppinion about the war in lebanon?

War is never ending and nobody wins. Peace will never come until everyone realizes this. Europe was a battleground for thousands of years before WWII brought it to its senses. At least 284 wars occurred in Europe between 1480 and 1964. What was achieved? Nothing except around 100 million dead and nearly constant misery for people. The same is happening in the middle east. It will never end until something really catastrophic happens to wake people up and make them realize that it is just not worth the price. Hate certainly is not enough unless you understand that hate always, eventually destroys the hater.

My opinion about the war in Lebanon is divided.On one hand I am pleased that at long last,the opressed neighbours of Israel have found a more effective means of fighting back,with more than the stones and small arms they usually defend themselves with.On the other hand,I'm very concerned what will happen to Israelis behaviour knowing the 40km range of hizbollahs rockets will extend to 400km quite soonThis fact puts their whole country under threat and these volatile fundamentalist are capable of anything..The use of nuclear weapons is out of the question against Lebanon or Palestinian territories but I'm sorry to say,if you live in Iran,then God help you..

War is bad when innocent people are killed and suffer. I know there is a need to fight terror, but for the sake of innocent people-this war should end.
