Israel is just being stupid
the whol thing started when hezbollas captured 2 israeli soldiers that were in lebanese territotry and they where willing to exchange them for over 700 lebanses that were captured by Israel. Then all of a suden Israel bobms Lebanon and the rest is what you see now. Israel gave a warning for the civilians to leave southern lebanon but then 2 hours after the warning they started airstrikes and didnt allow the innocent civilians to leave. Then they complain about why the civialians are still there when they are getting killed. That iis becuase they have no where to go and no way to get there. All roads and airports are impassable and if you walk on foot you are a sitting duck for an israeli soldier to shoot you. Now there is no way of removingHezbollah since the civilians affect have joined Hebollah and there are now actuallly twice as much hezbollah members then when the war began.
The thing with Iraq is that they were actually successful and the country was striving with Sadaam. He did some terrible things but what governemnt/ leader hasnt. the US gov sends prisoners to Guantanomo iwthout a trial and they are killed. Now that the US has destroyed Iraq, the stability is gone and a civil war has brokin out. Two countries have been destroyed by greed. The Us's greed for oil destoryed IRAq. The Israeli greed for power has destoyed Lebanon.
THE THING IS, ISRAEL HAS ONLY KILLED 20 HEZBOLAH FIGHTERS BUT HAVE KILLED OVER 600 INNOCENT CIVILIANS!!!!

"Israel are attacking for hizbullah why they are killing innocent people.. babies are being killed. "
Hezbollah is a political movement with a command from their God to destroy Israel. Historically, they will target both Israeli military and civilians. Before the current conflict, Hezbollah was firing rockets into homes in Israel. Israel has made amazing efforts to avoid killing civilians. They are warning cities before they attack, and have only targeted places where Hezbollah has weapons and bases.
Hezbollah likes to put military equipment near schools and mosques. They intentionally put innocent civilians and children in danger. They see this as their religious duty, as those that die in battle go to heaven.
"Iraq is living same things because of America."
This is incorrect. Saddam Hussien killed his own people much faster than foreign terrorist groups are killing anyone in Iraq. Innocent civilians killed by the US are usually crossfire. Remember, that these terrorist groups are fighting war while dressed as civilians, a violation of the Geneva Convention. Their violation puts civilians at risk.
"what is the mission of united nations_?what is it doing_?"
The mission of the UN is to encourage peace. However, as history has shown, cease-fires do not bring peace, but give militia groups a chance to rest and re-arm. If the UN would let Israel wipe out the Hezbollah armies that put so many civilians in danger, the threat could be eliminated. Unfortunately, the UN could demand yet another cease-fire, guaranteeing bloodshed when Hezbollah starts attacking again.
"these slaughters must be stoped"
The quickest way for a war to be stopped is for it to be won. Ask yourself, are you supporting Israel, a country which will telephone the residents of a civilian area before attacking, or Hezbollah, who will proudly send their sons to blow themselves up in a market, just to say that they killed some Jews?
Hope this helps.

There was an uneasy and sometimes violent stasis between Israel and Hezbollah that persisted from 2000 until last month. On July 12, Hezbollah fighters crossed the border into Israel and attacked an Israeli patrol. Three Israeli soldiers died in the fight. Hezbollah kidnapped two others and took them back into Lebanon.

There is no solution. All this was planned. Now its to late for the Axis of Evil to coordinate anything. This is my psychic analysis: Israel, USA and a few other countries got together and made a plan. USA to occupy Iraq. Iraq is in between Iran and Israel so US Military personel could take care of border crossers tryin to go to Israel. So we are in Iraq while Israel kicks the feces out of Hezbollah. Iran wants to so badly go to help Hezbollah in lebanon but they are scared of the COALITION. So now we are on our way to World Peace. I think it is a brilliant idea. GOD BLESS THE COALITION FORCES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont worry about the babies. Babies were killed on 9/11, in Spain, London. Hezbollah uses babies, children and teenagers as shields and suicide bombers. We have to stop these extremists. The real Islamists will prevail not the Islamists that are bombing without warning.

There were Israeli soldiers killed, and two kidnapped. It is called an incident that sparks a war. Stupid? yes! As long as nations lack a means of settling these types of "incidents", they will gas up their tanks, planes and soldiers and off they go to wage war. oh yes there were some rockets sent into Israel, not sure about how the first exchange of hostilities began news reports are often sketchy and inaccurrate. A long history of hostilities, so neither side has good restraint in reacting to "incidents"

Israel did not start this war, they were in Israel when hezbollah terrorist came into Israel and kidnapped two 19 year old soliders and when Israel went after their people, hezbollah terrorists hid in houses with women and children. Hezbollah shot about 165 rockets into Israel this last two weeks, shooting at women and children and old people but all the world can say is "shame on Israel" Hezbollah planned this just the way it happened, and they are living in Southern Lebanon..

Civilians are being killed because the Hezbollah are using them as human Shields. That means they are shooting their missiles into Israel from populated areas.Israel is targeting launch areas for the returned fire (trying to hit the attackers) meanwhile Hezbollah is not firing its rockets at the Israeli army but at Israeli civilians. The Peace keepers won't go in unless there is a cease fire , there won't be a cease fire until Israel is sure that it is protected..

hey pretty_boy, Isreal is backed by the world’s superpower, US, and Hezbollah is backed by both Iran and Syria (of course, started by Lebanon).
This is surely NOT a clash between two countries in the Middle East, instead, it represents the clash between ideologies, governance, as well as religion.
Why?
Starting from the ABCs, it was Hezbollah who first started launching a small-scale invasion of Israel’s border, and then it gradually evolved to become Israel’s all-out, total attack on Lebanon, by launching missiles and streaming rows of tanks for these purposes. Hence, before this “war” even started, a cold ceasefire was merely an official name. The moment Lebanon captured 2 of Israel’s soldiers and invaded Israel’s borders, the barriers of international peace that had been supposedly put up came down like Jericho’s city walls.
Therefore, from a quote from my Social Studies prof, I just found out it is not the 2 soldiers that really mattered. It was Israel’s way of getting back at the nations that had “ignored its existence”, as written by an author in the TODAY newspapers. Remember the Iran’s presidents’ statement about Isreal?
The solutions are few, and highly limited.
While diplomats do suggest that the only way out would be exchanging friendly ties — but I ask, isn’t that so superficial? It’s like patting an enemy on the back for doing a great job, yes, in defeating you. Then we identify who really are the parties behind the war.
I’m believe strongly that the citizens were neutral (or perhaps a little inclined to their own country’s side, but only a little), but the governments were at war, and a few other organizations.
Yet, the people want peace, not war, not Hezbollah’s kidnap, not Israel’s missiles - they don’t want anything but peace and national stability! They already have their own problems to worry about, so why would someone add death to their already overflowing “Anxiety List 101″? To put it simply, this is illogical.
Yes, of course, if you read Sun Zi’s “Art of War”, then you realise in his Chapter 6, Weakness and Strengths, the quote:
“Military tactics are like water. The tendency of water is to run away from high places and hasten downward. Likewise, the law in battle is to avoid engaging the enemy at his strong points, and to attack his weak points.”
Because Israel attacks at Lebanon’s citizen residential areas, they exploit the natural disadvantage these places hold due to their utter lack of defence, despite some bomb shelters. Hence, countries of the world can condemn Lebanon for attacking and killing innocent lives - but does Israel really have a choice?
To quote what SM Goh Chok Tong (Singapore) says from TODAY Newspaper,
“For a long-term solution, he (SM Goh) called on Palestinians and Hezbollah to recognize Israel’s right to exist.”
“That’s important because if others don’t recognise Israel’s existence, then what is there for Israel to do other than fight and destroy you?”
How terribly true.
Not only this, following Sun Zi’s quote from above we find this sentence (translated):
“The place where one intends to attack must not be made known…”
Yet we all know that Israel DID leave “pamphlets” in Lebanon citizen’s letterboxes to warn them of the imminent missiles that would comet down from the skies. And there were definitely pathways of escape - many (including tourists - my cousin) have returned. However, a majority of them have decided to ignore this, causing death to their families and loved ones. Again, if one were to still criticise Israel’s act of not allowing innocent lives to live, then one should ask,
Was Israel’s sovereignty as a nation first observed?
If this question cannot be answered, then there should be absolutely no dispute about Israel’s attack on Lebanon, nor criticisms about their actions, because what triggered this international chain of 'events' is far more important.

What's to understand. Israel wants something from Lebanon and is going to get it at the expense of innocent people. It happens in every country, but usually on a much smaller scale.
I hope everyone will stop soon. It makes me sad. Let's hope that their god(s) is with them.

Tell me this --Why are you so concerned when Israel kills a civilian? When Israel does it they are shooting at some radical militant or something he uses to supply him.
Hezbollah never shoots at anyone but civilians. 2500 rockets fired at Israeli towns. What is Hezbollah shooting at? Are THEY shooting at Israeli troops? I don't think so!
Why are Lebanese civilians innocent and Israeli citizens aren't by your implication? In my opinion all civilians no matter who they are not supposed to be targeted. Now if you target something military and some civilians get killed that is collateral damage. And while not desired is acceptable.
Why does the Arab world tolerate Hezbollah intentionally shooting at civilians?
