This guy has wasted 5 years of his life in hiding in order for his wife to claim life insurance on him, as soon as he comes out of hiding, he is arrested for fraud. He is now facing up to 15 years for fraud charges as his wife snitched on him saying they went on holiday together last year.

Am I the only person that finds that really funny that he has screwed his life and his wifes for nothing.
What a fool.

Darwin was declared legally dead, so surely his passport would have been invalid. If it wasn't, did it not show up on the computers that he was still using it?

How many other "dead" people are entering and leaving Britain unnoticed? In the post-9/11 world, with terrorist threats everywhere, it's hard to believe this is going on.

No question here, just wanted to send our thoughts and condolences to the people of Omaha, Nebraska.
No words can really help at a time like this, we can only say that our thoughts and prayers are with the families of these unfortunate people at this time.

for some of the carry on in News and Events? There is nothing we can do to stop it, except to avoid answering these posts at all. Even the strongest defensive reply is feeding these people with the attention they crave because their lives are lacking. I pity them in a way. It is a mental health issue with these poor souls who enjoy a vendetta, and all I can suggest is they examine their need to do this and control it before it spills over into the rest of their lives. It is far better to contribute to this forum in an amusing ar intelligent way than to bang on about other people. It earns respect if you can hold an opinion and take part. If opinions differ, it doesn't matter.Debate is for people who care about things, it doesn't matter what it's about, horses for courses. Respect is far more rewarding than notoriety. Does anyone agree with me please?

The tragegy of the shooting as well as the tragedy was was this young man's life.

On Wednesday, 19-year-old Robert Hawkins killed eight people and himself in a shooting rampage at an Omaha shopping mall, police said.

Surgical nurse Debora Maruca-Kovac, whose family took in Hawkins after her 17- and 19-year-old sons befriended him, said she saw victims of the mall shooting being brought in to the hospital where she works.Though he had his troubles, Hawkins was gentle and loved animals, Maruca-Kovac said. But he also had a drinking problem and would occasionally smoke marijuana in his bedroom, she said. Hawkins liked to listen to music and play video games — "normal teenager stuff," she said.
"He was a very helpful young man, but he was quiet," Maruca-Kovac said. "He didn't cause a lot of trouble. He tried to help out all the time. He was very thankful for everything. He wasn't a violent person at all."

I am talking about genuine humanitarian aid and international relief projects of every imaginable kind.

I am not just talking about the US Governments efforts but the multiple thousands of volunteer organizations at work every day. Add to this list the non-profit organizations and the for profit corporations and the list is enormous.

Va. Tech , Iraq II Omaha! Afghanistan, Pennsylvania, Iraq II, nuke threats on Iran, Columbine, children, soldiers, crazed people with guns, A history of non-stop violence, it almost seems this is part of American Pysche, Ultra Violence!!, and every politician says America is a peace loving country. an Oxymoron
if there ever was one. Are Americans "Natural Born Killers" by default?

And before you try to equate this question with the Middle East or Africa, Ask yourself... do Americans really want to be compared with Fanatics and Warlords, And also remember this. America is the Worlds Arms dealer
And do not forget about the CIA's role in Africa and the Middle East backing these crazy leaders

yes! we have had and do have violence in Europe, but we also have as many guns as America but a death rate by gun of 500 in 35 countries, 15,000 in America, your neighbors
Canada also has as many, but only 25 a year. so America!. Natural born Killers! or misunderstood N RA hippies?

What is going on with the youth in America? Is heartless internal strife and slaughter the new "cool" thing? The Nebraska shooter left a note on the crime scene saying, "Now I'll be famous".
Where are America's schools or parents going wrong? Bush is harboring a larger war within the US than the imagined ones he fights elsewhere.
