Isn't all this rain Sydney is getting over the last few days great?

Yeah! I found some old fashioned garbage bins under the house and put them outside. Now they are full and I can water my garden from them. It's just a little catchment, but it all helps.

It would be much better if it was in the catchment area and Sydney had full dams. In the meantime you are welcome to come to Newcastle where we haven't had water restrictions. And we don't mind if you have some of the rain as well, we've probably had enough (think Pasha Bulker weekend...).

it is :D im just not sure whether the catchments and dams are getting much. It seems that most of the time that whenever it rains alot the areas that need it most never get it =(
