On the news tonight they are warning about a new threat from terrorism just at the time they are seeking more funding. I expect this sort of mercenary attitude from private corporations not government institutions.

I go out to watch the fireworks.Come home in a lovely mood, then come back to find that someone has made postings saying that I and some others are bullies.
I don't think I am and always try to answer Q's honestly and have a laugh.
I don't think any bullying is going on.
Have any of you ever witnessed me bully anyone on here and what was it about?

I left England 6 years ago and have never been back. I had some experiences while growing up there for 19 years that made me feel i belong more here in the U.S and mostly, it was down to the violence in the majority of people in England.
You so much as look at them and bat an eyelash they start a fight with you and i know this doesn't go for everywhere. I once lived in Bridlington and the people there were very down to earth and friendly, same goes for the counrtyside of somerset.
I'm hearing from my family there that crimes are getting more and more outragious, even my grandfather was nearly jumped by a group of youths. He was getting into his car and they yelled "what the F*** are you looking at" i mean, come on, does the government and parent's/family not see a problem here???
Anyway, what brought me this was what i just read on CNN and wanted to ask anyone in the U.K what you think and if you think it's true.

It's just doesn't make sense that everyone says they would love to do more for education, but they can't because there is a budget. But when it comes to war, there is no limit, no budget, no remorse to financing billions of dollars for a war not many people want. Don't get me wrong...PRO TROOPS. Tough job in a tough place. All my thanks. I am talking to the suits that put our sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, and brothers and sisters there.

I am doing an argumental research paper. I am wondering if anyone out there feels that some of the crimes are mimmicked or copycatted due to the "attention & glorification" given by the news and media. For example the Columbine shootings?

Multiculturalisim is many things but with the white population stagnant or fallling and illegal immigration, as well as legal immigration growing expotentially. With the immigrant communities demanding priviliges so that they are given special treatment, therefore in a generation or two down the line this is the legacy you have left your children and your childrens children. As an example within 20 years Birmingham will have an ethnic majority as will alot of other British towns and citys lose their britishness. This scenario is playing out right now in the most liberal place in Europe Holland where they have realised the mistake of mass immigration and are gradually becoming the most right wing country the continent has seen in maybe sixty years. Now you can either be adult about this and give an intelligent response take on board what i have said and acknowledge that a sizeable majority agree with me or you can jump up and down like a small child who doesnt get his way.

As of early this morning, The French Connection, which is a website devoted to exposing corruption in governments, has been taken off the web. This is a very controversial website promoting free speech.

I don't care what anyone says, putting your faith in ancient superstitious nonsense ahead of your own children is irresponsible.

If we all did that, the world would be full of feral children, with no adults to guide them, and eventually humans would likely become extinct.

Madness.

yesterday I went christmas shopping and on my return my key did not work in the lock (I thought my bf had changed the locks lol)

On closer inspection my front door key was bent! I have no idea how, it was either in my handbag or car ignition the whole time I was out.

Today, on my return from work, the key to the main front door at my flat was the same, again it had either been in my bag or car ignition.

There is nothing in my bag that could have done this, indeed my office keys are in there and are all fine!

What is happening to my keys?

(I am not Uri Gellar as my bf helpfully suggested!)

I've always thought organised religion was overall a bad thing, but this is just insane!

They refuse life-saving blood transfusions, yet they symbolically consume the blood and flesh of a person who's been dead for 2000 years!

Sheer madness.

[Spoof]- The story is a satire or parody
"Having read and heard and seen the evidence in the case, I shall require a good, long bath such as I have never known," declared The Hon. Mr Justice Johnny Town-Mouse. "I've sent people who make more sense to Broadmoor."

During the hearing, the Crown Prosecution Service submitted evidence proving:

Delusional beliefs that challenges to DNA evidence would result in the release of thousands of the worst beasty baby-killers from prisons
Allegations of madness, evil and swinging in others by persons medically unqualified to accurately diagnose, morally incapable of making such distinctions, and too bloody ugly to pull
Rampant megalomania
Wilful disregard for and general ignorance of the nature of libel
Appalling spelling, grammar and basic reasoning skills
Several examples of multi-stanza compositions, described as poetry, capable of inducing nausea, vertigo and diabetic coma in the mentally sound.

Few questions-
If a girl is drunk and passes out and man has sex with her is this the girl or the mans fault?
If a girl is walking home in the dark on her own and she's been out for a night out and is wearing a short skirt and she gets raped is it her fault or the mans?
If a girl has had a lot of sexual partners and someone knows this and forces her to have sex is this her fault or his?
If a girl is out and not wearing any knicekrs and gets raped is this her fault or his?
Just wondering what peoples view are - personally in all these cases the man is to blame! but unforntunatly some people in the judicial system think that these factors matter.
Similar cases to all of the above have been brought to court and thrown out for the reasons i have mentioned.
Im interested in your views!
