[Spoof]- The story is a satire or parody
"Having read and heard and seen the evidence in the case, I shall require a good, long bath such as I have never known," declared The Hon. Mr Justice Johnny Town-Mouse. "I've sent people who make more sense to Broadmoor."

During the hearing, the Crown Prosecution Service submitted evidence proving:

Delusional beliefs that challenges to DNA evidence would result in the release of thousands of the worst beasty baby-killers from prisons
Allegations of madness, evil and swinging in others by persons medically unqualified to accurately diagnose, morally incapable of making such distinctions, and too bloody ugly to pull
Rampant megalomania
Wilful disregard for and general ignorance of the nature of libel
Appalling spelling, grammar and basic reasoning skills
Several examples of multi-stanza compositions, described as poetry, capable of inducing nausea, vertigo and diabetic coma in the mentally sound.

Do you guys understand the article? Do you understand what is happening in the Mirror's forum? This satire is aimed at the people who are involved in the witch-hunt.

Shambo, Kamran, Justme
Lack of moral acumen, lack of critical thinking, lack of wit
Even your insults are not sophisticated. If you talk to me like this again I’ll dissect the left-over of your character and intellect. Do you understand?

Had this little parody not been aimed at the Mirror forum user I would have considered it an accurate observation of the Witch hunters on here. I am sorry to see you on the receiving end of such puerile viciousness, it does bring to mind the fact that the truth hurts.

They just don't get it do they...ever.

I have a feeling the nastiest of the people on here are also the ones who go on the Mirror forums,I know one of them does, because my sister who goes on there has told me.

I can't bring myself to even look at it,I find it hard enough watching the witch hunt on here, without seeing it twofold.

Funny how freedom of speech only seems to apply to the jokes made BY anti-McCanns and not the jokes made AGAINST them, as this YA post and its answers show.

There's most definitely a case of double standards being demonstrated here.
Quotes from the responses to the Sean Hughes joke about the McCanns included.....

"While it might of (sic) been an offensive joke he had every right to make the joke"

"Good for him, why the heck should he have to back down"

"They are 'joke' parents and therefore joke we may"

"I don't think he should aplogise for any joke, no matter what it's about."

For the record, I don't find either Toi-et-moi's post, or the Sean Hughes joke in poor taste.

Shame they missed the point .Ironic their protestatations reflect so much on them.

O wad some Power the giftie gie us
To see oursels as ithers see us!

Edit Lorelei:You'll be wanting Shady's shoes then,non?

And once again Shady plumbs the depths with his answer.Read it again and have someone explain it to you. This question is not about the case but concerns the self appointed 'jury'.So you see your rant has no justification.Indeed wash that dirty mind of yours out.
(Should I explain to him that's a metaphor or will I just leave him to it?)

I'm trying to put myself in the shoes of someone who trawls the internet for such stuff to post on here.

Nope, still don't understand.

Johnny Town-Mouse? Isn't that a Beatrix Potter character? I understand it, and I know what it was getting at, and it's quite amusing, if you understand where the post is actually pointed at.

Spoof, satire? no, nor remotely amusing either. You i presume find this funny, in which case this tells me a lot about you, seems you can add pomposity and superciliousness to your list of questionable attributes. Oh and let's not forget a sense of humour largely based on your own fondly imagined superiority.....touche,Toit et moi..........Further note, real satire bites, this is more how i'd imagine being slapped round the face by a wet haddock would feel.
