A country goes to war to steal oil and ends up not gettin any!!..And get this... the illegal wars that the Bully started in order to get the oil are being lost... to a bunch of rag tag teenage zealots!! DOPE!!.. and then there is the "1 trillion dollars owed to China".. Yes China!!!..Bridges falling down.. A housing Fiasco... Loan money to people with poor credit... Now there is a good Idea!! .. then there is the Bully playing King of the hill. i.e President and his Neo-Nazi henchmen and a women, who is the laughing stock of the entire world who and who should be declared legally Retarded!!..

What a tough question! I can read the conflicted feelings you are having. There are 2 things..1) This man has a mixture of motives and inner drives that lead him to do what he's doing. There appear to be two sides to him and his character (his involvement in your life and the positive impact that he had) and his "twisted" self, leaving behind a wife and children. 2) This is a reminder that when we substitute leadership of a person rather than being led by Christ alone....we are disappointed and easily become disillusioned. When we develop a relationship with the living Lord Jesus Christ we can accept the human limits, weaknesses, failures and successes as well of other humans with a proper perspective.

very few people in the U.S. like bush or his cronies, but please don't talk about "empires" to us - the empires of great britain & france are the cause of the mess in both the middle east & africa - go to west africa & ask their opinion of france & men like degaulle - we all have our tragic histories to contend with but europeans for the most part seem to have amnesia & btw, if america falls, everyone falls cause you'll all starve to death on the oil from the arabs that hate you all too & the tech that the chinese will gleefully shove down your throat while they choke anyone with an opinion

Since you are a well educated "European"( I have my doubts... your terminology leads me to believe you are probably an American ) than you would also understand that the devaluations of the dollar is not a good thing for Europe....as the dollar slides the Euro gains......what impact do you think this will have in a globalized economy ....(.by the way, that is what we have.)...... here is a couple of hints...many European countries rely heavily on exports to fuel their economy....with the slide in the dollar and the federal reserve cutting interest rates in America... what do you suppose could happen with a high Euro with higher interest rates.......businesses do business in places that stand to make a better profit off their endeavor..like Europe and America do business with places like China and India for this very reason... if this current trend remains..the EU could very well look forward to less growth and a more stagnant economy resulting in high inflation......which is not a good thing ...at least not for the working class...and America with its pitiful dollar and low interest rate will continue to experience some growth.......falling to your knees is one thing..get them chopped off at the knees is another.......

you see...wishing America will tank is like wishing for Europe to collapse....it kind of takes the party mood out of you when you realize you are going down with the ship also...doesn't it ? oh well......cheers mate ....give your thanks to globalization ........

I think most probably we are witnessing the end of an Empire but by no means is it finished.It will always be a major player.
There is nothing to be gained in gloating about the mess Bush has made.I am quite certain that Americans will learn from their mistaken faith in this man and return again to the values enshrined in their constitution.(That constitution may be unrecognisable by the time he leaves office though!)His priorities lay in oil and Israel and lining his friends pockets while brave young Americans and allied soldiers paid the price.
