Watched from the window at an enormous dislay in our Country Park. Just was thankful not to be there as apparently the traffic was a nightmare for those going and coming home. Not a great lover of fireworks anyway.

I had a bonfire up the top of my garden it was just to get rid of old branches and wood, I was on my own. There was some lovely fireworks going off at some of the neighbours. I do miss the days when my children were young it was great fun, next year though will be a better one cause all the family will be coming to me.

Yes, I did have a nice time with wife and children at home watching the fireworks exploding into beautiful colour all over London. What a show.
It is now midnight and the place is very quite.

I am a Brit who now lives in the States and of course they don't have Guy Fawkes night. So I miss it like crazy.
They do celebrate 4th July with great fireworks, but it is the spuds and toffee apples and stuff that I miss, the whole feel of it.

we had a firework display at home with a lovely barbecue sausages and borgers and jacket spuds!
Unfortunately one of the fireworks shot out in the wrong direction and hit my 8 year old sons leg burning a hole in his tracksuit bottoms and very very luckily leaving just a tiny tiny little scorch mark on his skin, thank god it wasnt in his face he was standing about 40 to 50 yards away and it just fired out at him so fast he just didnt have the time to move, it makes you think doesnt it?
