Of course, Rosie O'Donnell has claimed that our government was involved in 9/11. George W. Bush was not president when the terrorists first took illegal residence here and began taking flying lessons. So, it might be fun to explore what Clinton’s role was in the attack.

Idea #2
Some people say Marilyn Monroe was killed to "silence" her, that she was having a fling with JFK. Possible, but a lot of people said that it was such an indiscreet relationship, anyway, why kill her over it? Everyone already knew. Pay special attention to the coroner's (Dr. Noguchi) promotions. He received one almost immediately after Monroe's autopsy, and another a few years later after RFK's autopsy (where he said Sirhan Sirhan could not have killed RFK).

There are probably a lot of information concerning whether we went to the moon or not, first. There are also conspiracies concerning 9-11, JFK's assassination, AIDS, aliens, oil prices and anything to do with secrecy.

Though it depends on what you are looking for. Overall there are conspiracies over EVERYTHING.

1. Moon Landing: Real or Fake?
2. JFK: Lone gunman or conspiracy?
3. Marilyn Monroe: Overdose, Suicide, or Murder?

I'd stay away from 9/11. Still too fresh in people's minds.

If your goal is to provide something with a factual basis, stay away from alien/faked moon landing theories. 9/11 and JFK are fascinating grounds to explore, but beyond the scope of a simple essay. You would need 25 pages minimum to even do them justice. I would recommend that you look into the "business plot," which was a plan by some powerful financiers and industrialists (DuPonts, JP Morgan, many others) to overthrow the government and establish a fascist military regime. However, they made the mistake of approaching Smedly Butler, perhaps the greatest Marine ever and patriotic American, to lead the coup. He found a reporter to pose as his intermediary, gathered evidence and took it to congress, who started a committee which found their allegations to be factually accurate. Of course no treason charges were ever brought about for obvious reasons.

How about the government conspiracy that education levels and examination performance results are constantly rising and are now the highest they've ever been?

I've yet to see any evidence of it on here.

How about the fact that our own president has killed 10 times as many as the terrorists.
