Why do people think & claim to support the troops while not supporting the war or even the president no matter what party he is. I'm not just talking this war but all wars back to Vietnam back to Korea back to WW2 back to WW1 so on. A soldier is suppose to fight when called upon to do so no matter the reasons or politics or even the support of the "people" but when you claim to support him while speaking out against or doubting him & what he is doing & risking his life for it just wrong. You cant fight a war without loses you cant always perdict the enemy or a battle but just like in sports you have to let the players do their jobs. We call people who like a team or even a player say the Yankee's or Barry Bonds when they are winning or hitting homers but who guerr them when they aren't is just arrrgh. Its life there are good days & bad & you can't support someone yet not support what they do its contradicting & unfair. Why do people think you can when you can't?

is everyone aware that after last year's offer by Hydro to offer customers who cut their consumption by a certain amount a REBATE, now they are complaining that they have a deficit in revenue, and are looking to hike up their rates? Am I the only one who is outraged by this?? I think it's ridiculous that people actually took it upon themselves to be more responsible with their consumption, made the effort, and now that they've achieved the goal, Hydro is essentially penalizing its customers with a rate increase. What did they expect if they promoted REDUCED consumption and MONEY BACK?? did they think their bottom line would not suffer? I guess they did, so now we have to pay for this?! I think everyone should write to their member of parliament and complain about this blatant scam. This is the kind of thing that makes people cynical about environmental concerns, and about big business and corporations. I for one will be writing a letter to my MP, and I hope more will.

If you notice, more and more children are becoming obese. In fact, children are expected to live five years less than their parents because of obesity. In fact, a stunning 17% of kids aged 2-19 years old in the USA are obese. What are some ways to implement change in nations where there are fast food chains on every block?

i think it is sick that we don't do anything. we should atleast read or talk about it. it is something tramatic and life threatning for many americans and we act like it did'nt even happen. that is the first thing it think of on any 9/11 when i wake up.

This is not an endorsement of the way he has handled the past 3 years. Personally he should of fired Rumsfield three to four years ago. He is stubborn and he has failed many times along the way. But shouldn't the Dems be stepping back at this point and waiting just a little bit to see if his plans are going to work. Any U.S. life that is lost is too much don't get me wrong. But we are there and just pulling out isn't the answer either. What do you think?

Since March 16 ,2007: 15 cats and 1 dog have died from the recalled pet food and we are hearing about this everyday in the news. Just to use as comparison I don't think we have heard that since March 16,2007 29 soldiers have died that are serving over seas. Isn't that sad? We are not focused on the right thing.

The Arabs attacked Israel in 1967, but somehow expected Israel to return all it's land as if nothing had happened. It just seems to me that if you're the agressor, you can't expect the complete return after your defeat. What is the Arab answer for this expectation?
