Looks like the Revd Ian Paisley and Gerry Adams have finally seen the light. why the hell this didnt happen 38 years ago is beyond me. My parents live in Northern Ireland, my father was born there. Thankfully our family didnt get caught up in the secterianism that has blighted the province. My dad and his side of the family are as orange as king billy, but my cousin married a cathholic and we didnt get any trouble by republicans, or by the protestants. Indeed one of my other cousins is in the military police.
I think this really an historic moment. Due in part to Tony Blair, the late Mo Molem, Bertie ahern, david trimble, john hume, also bill clinton, john major, sinn fein, dup, uup.

I really, really want to believe it will happen, historic indeed, I never thought I'd see the day Ian Paisley would be in the same room as Gerry Adams, let alone TALK to him.
When the power sharing starts and the hatred stops then we will have some peace in our land.
Remember when England would show Gerry Adams on the news but wouldn't let his voice be heard - but had an actors voice dubbed over using his words !!!!, yes indeed, we have come a very, very long way.
