This is not an endorsement of the way he has handled the past 3 years. Personally he should of fired Rumsfield three to four years ago. He is stubborn and he has failed many times along the way. But shouldn't the Dems be stepping back at this point and waiting just a little bit to see if his plans are going to work. Any U.S. life that is lost is too much don't get me wrong. But we are there and just pulling out isn't the answer either. What do you think?

If the Dems were to step back as you say, and things start being much better in Iraq (the things that have no chance of being reported by the mass media) then that could be construed as GW being right.
That would mean the Dems were wrong, and they wont have that.
They crave the defeat that would ruin the things GWB has tried to get in place. The Dems said they wouldnt play partisan politics if elected.
We can all see how that was a big lie.

Pegasus, the troops and mercenary's have been told not to plant too many fake bombs so as to make Bush look good, what on earth possses you to come with a bald face lie like that ? do you have any shred of evidence to back up nonsense like that?

Bush has been right all along, the only reason people think opposite is because of the partisan Democrat attacks which whilst nation is at war is disgusting in fact TREASON, the democrats are traitors. And the left wing loony liberal media backing the democrats.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I have voted republican and democrat over my 23 years of voting. Mr Bush is the worst president I have ever seen.

Stubborn
Arrogant
Divisive
and not very bright

When the US occupied Japan at the end of WWII one thing we did right was to *not* dismantle their bureacracy. When we purged all the bathists from the government, we removed everyone who knew how to make things run, and pissed them off too. Rumsfeld's "new light army" approach was sooooooooo wrong, that it's only a testament to the incredible stubborness of W that he lasted as long as he did.

I personally would like to see two things:
1. Heed the Iraq commissions recommendations (listen to your dad, W)
2. Impeach Bush, fire Cheney

All this really means is that the mercenaries and troops have been told to not to plant too many fake terrrorist bombs to help make BUSH LOOK BETTER.It doesn;t occurr to some people that with the coming attack on IRAN the focus and importance of Iraq is diminishing in other words the oil is safely in the hands of WESTERN companies and so the dog and pony show continues.

He's had 4 years to get this straight. How many chances are we going to have to give him? His failure to listen to his military advisers has cost him his credibility not to mention thousands of lives.
And from the news I heard today, violence is not down.
