this is a serious question. like O h my G o sh!!!!! Katie Couric is a real journalist, and so are the guys on ABC, and Fox News, and they all covered the Anna Nicole "murder" much more than they have this international incident in Iran. By the way, the media do have standard: if only a 20 year old hot blonde had been kidnapped by the Iranians their would be non-stop coverage of it. This just shows you what the media value...........

I do. We have the best, sophisticated miltary in the world, and we find a guy who has done next to nothing to us before we can find a guy who killed 3,000 of our own citizens... on our own soil, does this make any sense to anyone?

Iraq, March 27, 2007.

A suicide bomber tricked soldiers into believing he was bringing much needed food supplies to a northern Iraqi town Tuesday in one of the deadliest series of attacks that killed more than 70 people around Iraq. The blast ripped through Tal Afar after a crowd of hungry Iraqis surrounded the vehicle that residents and soldiers believed was a supply convoy following a week of food shortages.

Besides what we are already doing in Iraq, what can we do about this outrage? Anybody have any ideas? I'm fresh out.

On CNN news today, Pres Bush spoke with disgust about the "unlawful" detention of the 15 british military personel that allegedly entered Iranian borders without permission, how is that any different from Bush signing of the detention bill last year where "habeus corpus" rights can be abolished under justified circumstances?

I totally DO NOT agree with the "detention" idea that Iran authorities have done, but at least these detentions are not done in total secrecy by Executive Order... where the detainee has absolutely NO RIGHTs of attorney. Iran govt can justifiably state that theya re afraid the "allied forces" might spy on them to invade them as they had invaded Iraq a coupla years ago, thus effectively making the detainees prisoners of war to protect the country from Foreign invasion right?

Those who are well knowledged in Poltical or Diplomatic law, please help me clear my confusion... Thank you in advanced

capture Osma Bin Laden like he promised?

Isn't Bush himself making a "mockery" of this by failing to do these things that he said he would do?

It seems like they wield military power like a loaded shotgun (a la Dick Cheney), but do our leaders really understand war and how horrible is? Can they really say they know more about war than a 14-year old boy in Iraq whose family was killed by a suicide bomber or an American gunship?

Iran is being forced to give up its right to peaceful nuclear activity under the NPT. The US, also a signatory, is obliged by the treaty to stop manufacturing nuclear weapons and dismantle those it stocks. Given that the US nuclear arsenal surpasses all nuclear weapons outside of the US combined, and that the NPT is being used to coerce Iran out of nuclear power; shouldn't the US give the example and follow the treaty it seeks to enforce?

The US incarcerates far more people per capita than China. Why is the US jailing so many of its own people? + Can we still sustain that the US is democratic when a large population of minorities are disenfranchised through incarceration?

throw the BUM Republicans out of office from all federal and in all the forthcoming elections? These republican politicians are essentially trampling on the very basic notion of our democratic and representative way of life. They have been so arrogant like "rich, bratty kids" and losing sight of what they were in office for in the first place!
