Definitely go check out the childrens museum like the other posters said. It WILL be packed so make sure you are up for it mentally!:) it's the largest children's museum in the world-- and fun for adults too.
also, don't miss Traders Point Farm in Zionsville. It's a local organic creamery and very kid friendly. They make the most amazing ice cream, cheese and milk (including chocolate milk that's to die for) and have different activities that go on during the week. It's also fun to just stop by anytime and wander around and see the animals, the ponds, tour the barn, buy a smoothie, etc.!

There is a wonderful museum. Great for children.
