How can gun control really work? The people who would obey the new laws wouldn't be breaking the law in the first place. Criminals don't follow the law anyway. The countries with strong gun control in place have higher crime rates. We have laws about drugs and we still have drug trade and abuse. Its easier to rob people if you know you, the criminal, are the only one with a gun.

I'm referring to the poor guy who hung himself yesterday on his webcam while people online watched. Some of the people urged him to go ahead and do it. I can't believe the depravity of the human soul. I think the ones who urged him to take his own life should be presecuted and jailed. What do you think?

It took us decades to recover from the debacle in Viet Nam and they did not follow us home to continue the war on American soil. These enemies will not be so timorous. This congress should be called the Cowardly Congress and all impeached for being gutless.

Just wondering how people get their daily news. Do you watch local news, national news, read the newspaper, use the internet/certian website or do you not care about daily news story's.

There are so many people under 30 that have no clue what is going on in this counrty or this world.

With the 15 sailors being held captive, Iran is very close to having Britain use military force. Along with this would be America's and Bush's excuse to invade them also. Does anyone know anything I don't?

Oh my God, it was pure comedy. United Auto Workers President Ron Gettelfinger tried to be a tough guy, but he sounded like a former homeowner who had severely overextended his credit and landed on the streets.

He's delusional, but then again, I guess you have to be to get elected to that position.

How will muslims react when the US invades IRAN and blows them back to the stoneage? I think the Western States are sick of the Middle East and their two-faced people, and Islamic Jihad... They are going to make a mockery of IRAN and all the US soldiers are going to unfortunately kill most Iranians.... What do you think about this situation?

My family and I were talking about the 'Forever Stamp' and if it would be worth it to buy in bulk. Just to compare we wanted to know how much a stamp cost 20 years ago.

Obviously a deadline that isn't met will mean British will use force. Does Tony Blair have the balls to set a deadline with consequences?

Another question is...Will Iran released the captured soldiers without barganing for something. If so, then what will they demand? Dropping the sanctions? Iraq pullout? will they want a fair trial to determine if they did cross in Iran terriroty???

The government lied to us about why we needed to be there yet they keep getting money to stay. With the costs going up and no Bin Laden, alive or dead, shouldn't those that have made billions in government contracts foot the bill for this?
