I once worked for an Iranian doctor, a doctor of nuclear medicine. He was one smart man and I grew to know and like him very much. His whole family lives there and lived under the Shah.
Jack Anderson, a famous American journalist once wrote..."no family (in Iran) has escaped the terror of the Shah." I asked him if that were true and he said, "Yes." It was America that put the Shah in Power there years before. That was around 1979 when Iran had captured Americans and held them for a very long time as hostages (later released). There have been several leaders since the fall of the Shah. I can't help but think they are better off....they are not killing one another like the Iraqies are.
The American talking heads talk of President Iminadinnerjacket...as if he were the devil himself. I don't hear the Iranians complaining about him.
The Iranians are an educated highly developed cultured group. What else do I need to know to know they are good people too?

I get my information from a wide variety of sources. Still, I do not know as much as I would like to know.
In my personal experience, there are wonderful Iranian people and bad ones too.

they have a Right to nuclear power and there Persians not Arabs and they have not started a war and attacked any country in two hundred years and there honest people.and we don't have a right to tell them they cant have nukes, we have them, the Israelis have a 100 nukes, so why not them, if they attack we have enough to kill EVERYONE in there country ,the feds have 5000 nukes .so why are we afraid of them?there honest people who don't care if they offend someones sensibilities,
just because they might maybe someday if, have nukes, doesn't give us a right to attack them,They will win if we send in ground troops,if we bomb them into submission we will pay for it dearly, we the American people, were not supposed to be evil people. and kill innocents like we have done in Iraq. half a million dead there and counting.
all i can do is pray for peace
