Both bad. Iraq will never attain democracy or stability. Nor will Afghanistan. Both countries will fragment under the strain of war, and those countries involved in "liberating" both will be forced to leave one way or another--leaving the area a hotbed for terrorism and more instability.

If you look at both countries right now, it looks like it turned for the worst but let the history books tell us in 50 years or so
It took the USA over 100 years to form the democracy it already has but still has much more to go.

well since we are pulling out of iraq in less than 11 months.... id have to say, they are phucked. they will probably read the koran and herd goats. for the next millenium. Not like much has changed in the past two thousand years anyway
