I live in San Francisco. Is it just me or have the earthquakes here increased in frequency and intensity recently? Has it always been like this? I've never noticed the earthquakes before so I don't know. Is this indicative of a "big one" coming soon? Discuss!

Why did Nancy Pelosi let a man being investigated for accepting "bribe" money, be put in charge of our security? I also say that he is being investigated. Its not true or false that he has. Its like hiring michael jackso to watch your kids...its not proved he molested kids, but he is under investigation...Why would she do this though? In all seriousness.

Who was hood-winked into believing Al Gore's Hollywood moment was anything but a big promotion for more taxes , and sacrifice from the rest of us . i think we are pretty safe. everyone is afraid of school shootings, kidnapping, sexual predators.i admit i am safer with strangers than like my dad but the media fightening kids that they will get raped or kidnapped. i dont think it's true! you are more likly to be struck by lighting!!!

I do feel bad but come on its been 18 months. Its always about New Orleans please when you live 14 feet below sea level what do you expect when a CAT 5 hurricane is coming. Mississippi got hurt THE WORST and there not complaining. I know about hurricane I grew in Florida.

20 feet long by now!

No Wmds for Saddam!
No capturing of Osama!
No Help for Afghanistan! It was supposed to be re-built by now!
Things lousy not great as he sez in Iraq!
Katrina victims still waiting for Fema!
No Reform on Social Security!
Medical Reform more of a mess now that he got involved in it!
Children are being "left behind" in his "Leave No Child Behind" policy!
and Despite his claims that the Economy is just doing great - we have close to 18% of our population living either at or below the poverty level!
Over 45 Million still without health care of any kind!
More Home foreclosures than ever before!
Close to one Million Americans Homeless! And mostly Vets!
Record Company and Personal Bankruptcies!
And his "Stay the Course" policy in Iraq has been upgraded to "Stay the Corpse!"
And after months of threatening Iran he now decides that the best thing to do is to sit down and talk with them!

We should give this man a mental test because I think he is nuts!

At times, the networks and print news seems to be pre occupied with Israel, the Palestinians, the Saudis, the Iranians. If we are going to spend time covering international news, I would like to know more about our neighbors Canada, Mexico and Caribeanan or our trading partners Europe, Japan, South Korea and China. News junkies...DO WE SPEND TOO MUCH TIME ON THE MIDDLE EAST?

I have noticed that the same tone of voice, the same stare and look in the eyes as well as the same demeanor are apparent in Howard K Smith and Scott Peterson...especially the ET interview after the judge ordered that Anna Nicole could be buried in the Bahama's...it now concerns me about the" little one" , Dannielynn, who is being taken care of with Howard with no supervision at times.
