He is suppose to I think he does because it doesn't matter to him he is like practically rich and he should set the example to pay taxes.

Yes, even the president of the United States pays taxes. All Federal employees and lawmakers do. He also pays taxes on any capital gains he may have as well. President Clinton I believe used to release his tax returns early to get all the questions out of the way, but I don't think he was the first.

Yes, he pays taxes on all income that he has. This includes his salary as president but excludes his spending account. (this spending account is where he pays for trips, security, etc.)

He would also pay taxes on all interest earned from investments.

To put it bluntly, he pays taxes upon the same sources of income as you would.

I tell you this, You & I have to pay taxes so he had better pay them too. He shouldn't get an exemption just because he's president.

The president, whoever it is, is subject to all tax laws. They always make their returns public, by custom - Bush too.
