If you mean this in a sense where because the people are talking about him, & causing a stir about different things he says/does, then yes, I do believe they are. Regardless of if they are talking good or bad about him, they are still talking about him. Thus, "keeping him alive". Let's not boost his ego anymore; lets just NOT talk about him. Period. I can't stand the man!
