This is a question to our American friends. Is there anyone out there who is aware of the plight of Australian David Hicks (held without charge for FIVE YEARS, in Guantonimo Bay). What should the people of America do about people being held without charge for years?

heard it read abc radio national this morning

any wonder john coward is attacking the oposition this morning
creating more destrasction while our own sits in a prison being abused with horrors deemed ''good'' ie not torture teqniques signed into law by bush and co

it got me angry but what can we do whenn john how war d is think ing his spin on the opposition
a 2 day old beat up on lobby rates better than torture upon a child ,locked up in hell for four years

If Hicks was captured during a military operation he is a prisoner of war and should not be standing trial for any "crimes". And since the war on terror has not ended he should remain a pow in US custody.

His name is Mohammad he changed it legally and also changed his citizenship to British and unfortunately we are at war and Mohammad(Hicks) made the decision to side against his country so he has to accept the consequences.
