With the 15 sailors being held captive, Iran is very close to having Britain use military force. Along with this would be America's and Bush's excuse to invade them also. Does anyone know anything I don't?

This issue won't cause a war. Iran will release them shortly. A war is still a possibility, but not over these sailors.

I doubt it. The Bush war supporters thought we would be going to war with Iran in 2004.

No. This is just another tension thing some hardliner warmongers want to milk to the last drop.
Iran knows that neither the US nor Great Britain is militarily capable of taking it on by themselves. Not with our forces spread so thin and crippled by war in Afghanistan and Iraq.
People are going: "But we have 2 aircraft carrier groups in the Gulf!"
So? Doesn't mean diddley when you don't have sufficiently trained and properly equipped ground forces to back them up with.
But...

iran will not be foolish enough to cause the current bush white house to opt for military resolution. president mammoud and the ayatollahs will sit out remaining years of bush administration & see who they will have to deal with in '08 and beyond.
the former region of the persian empire will not antogonise or irk the ire of the Brits, if they have any level or degree of sanity or rationality.
america may advertise shock & awe but england promises death....behind closed doors.
