Closing borders and Ports just sounds weird, like as if the USA needs to be separate. Maybe it's just a matter of figuring out immigration laws for all the illegals so that they can get a greencard and taxes like the rest of people. I mean no matter how big the wall is, or how closed the ports, all this stuff will still keep coming in, you cannot build a wall high enough.
As for Osama, seems he doesn't mention it because it brings up a lot of negative press for him. They're likely still looking for him, if he's found it'll be a proud day, if not, it'll be brushed under the rug most likely.
As for promises, all politicians break them.

The reason behind the war on terror was for the purpose of convincing the American people to give up the freedom we value so highly.
He made a lot of progress after The World Trade centers.but he underestimated the American.
Our motto still is LIVE FREE OR DIE.
That includes welcoming all.
It does sound like he got cha!
Don't give up our forefathers dream.

This world is run by deceit and money. We all knew Bush wasn't going to go after Osama, but we just stood by and did nothing. We're still standing by.
