I wouldn't limit it to just the current administration as you seem to be. The role of corporations in our current political system has been a growing problem for decades. Capitalists believe that business should dictate the role of government and the US has been going down the road of capitalism since the depression. The problem with capitalism is it is in stark contract to democracy. In a democratic society our lives and the role of government would be dictated by 'we, the people'. But within the role of capitalism, corporations are the boss. This is why most, if not all, elected officials are rich, white, well-to-do's. There is an illusion that we are a free society because of 'free elections' but Iraq has had something like 4 'free elections' already, and I wouldn't call them a free society.
While the current administration has taken the politcal stance of surrounding himself/themselves with alike-thinking people, that is not one of the basic tenants of a healthy political system. Abe Lincoln surrounding himself with people who blatantly disagreed with him and he is widely regarded as one of the greatest political geniuses in history, and he was a Republican. Unfortunately the way things are now, there seems to be no way to change the current role of corporations in our political system.
Just know, that the US is a CAPITALIST society and no longer functions like a DEMOCRACY. The two do not go hand-in-hand.

Finding accusations of wrongdoing is easy. However so far nobody has been able to come up with any actual evidence of wrongdoing.
Look at how the news coverage covers the prisoners at Gitmo - any accusation makes the front page but when the accusation is investigated and the troops cleared of wrongdoing - the article gets two paragraphs on page 25.

Making charges doesn't mean guilt.
So you start with a false idea that there is corruption in the White House.
You have listen to Air America a bit too much.
