I doubt it. Iran has shown it does not care what anyone else thinks. It is so wrapped up in its religious fervor that it just wants to rid the world of infidels. A few at a time if necessary.

And I would point out that all indications show they were in Iraqi waters, not Iranian. There were Iraqi fishermen who stated categorically that the incidence happened in Iraqi waters. It was a flagrant breach by the Iranians of Iraq's waters and could be construed as an act of war.

But, so many jump to believe the Iranians, the nation that denies the Holocaust which goes to show how reliable they are.

First off, it should be humanly. The last time this happened with the British sailors they were released unharmed after 3 days and all were fine, a little distraught, but O.K.
They are military and are so trained in capture procedures. With the entire world watching, I believe they will be O.K.because if they are not, The English will undertake devastating action against Iran just like they did in 1982 with Argentina over The Falklands War.

Wow, that is a revealing article. Although it is unlikely that Iran, in its present isolation, would do anything to risk war. So I assume they are treating the sailors just fine... on the other hand, have you researched international human rights groups on US Human Rights abuses? Here is what Amnesty International has to say about Guantanamo:
http://web.amnesty.org/pages/guantanamobay-background-eng

here it is, Human Rights Watch on the highest right of incarceration:
http://hrw.org/english/docs/2006/12/01/usdom14728.htm

and here it is, Human Rights Watch on the human rights abuses in US prisons:
http://hrw.org/reports/2006/us1006/

and if you want to look further, there is a long list of publications on the human rights abuses committed by the US in Viet Nam and Central America.
Although i agree with you, Human Rights abuses should be punished under international law. Let's take Bush and Ahmedinejad to the ICC.

I hope so. But I don't believe that they just stumbled into Iranian waters, either. The U.S. at least has been sending commandos into Iran for over a year in preparation for whatever they plan on doing over there.
