I agree. There should be Honor to these people that died. And many of the Fireman and Police knew when they went in they were not coming back-out. This should be in the History books for our own education. I think every 911
all of this country should stop what they are doing, work, schools, & etc, and bow in a moment of prayer..
I think of 911 often. Please pray for the surviors!

I have to admit, when i first saw your title i thought you were against it...however i agree 100% with you. At my school (i am in the ASB/leadership class) we put up big banners and had people write what freedom, courage, and something else i can't remember meant to them with their handprint next to it. A few people goofed off but a surprising number wrote some pretty deep stuff. We also read a poem over the loudspeaker. The first anniversary of 9/11 we had an essay competition and i won and read mine to the whole school. So in answer to your question, it should definitly be a national holiday with a moment of silence and stuff, printed on calendars and everything.

Listen here my American friends the rest of the world can't forget that either and it should be a national holiday. For one it's the worst disaster in modern times as far as life is concerned and for another it should remind you that we the western world is at war with extremism. Its not only you guys these people want dead.

Maybe they don't want to have the people who were killed families to go suicidal with grief. But I for one think it should be a day of remembrance.
