The National Intelligence Assessment today said the war in Iraq is a civil war. Several commentators are saying though that the situation is "more complex" and something like "We would be lucky if it were only a civil war." What do they mean by that?

dr.Mohammad Naseen, Birmingham Central mosque says muslims are being labelled just as the jews were under Hitler and that the government is justifying its anti-terror laws to persecute them. I didnt know that jews were going round killing and blowing up people before the nazis put a stop to it??? Naseen states the UK is just like Nazi Germany. Now the muslims in the police force are expressing concern over the safety of their officers in the light of the recent allegations of plots to behead serving muslims (whether military or police).
So, naseen, who really are the nazis in the UK. What do others think?

**I pose a thoughtful question????**

If man evolved from apes, all those millions of years ago...
There would be no more apes!- of course, right?
They would have ALL evolved into man.
They didn't change one bit! They are them, still today, and we are us!
**MY BELOVED ANCESTORS ARE NOT MONKEYS!**
Get a clue! You are a divine creation of God

It figures it would take a reactionary Blue Nose city like Boston to create an uproar over signs advertising "Adult Swim" when there was no reaction in 10 other major cities in the U.S. Don't those people think before they react? How in their wildest flights of fantasy could they equate cartoon signs with terrorist devices?
I welcome your comments. The best answer, or the most creative, gets the 10 points. :o)

I am not in agreement with calling people names, but since when does a person (i.e. Isaiah Washington) have to go to rehab for expressing himself? Ummm, the 1st ammendment comes to mind here. Also, I haven't seen anyone get in trouble for saying b*tch, *ssh*le, or any other colorful words hollywood feels necessary to put in their movies and television. Since when is the word 'f*ggot' illegal? Also, for all you people who equate equality for black people with equality for gay people, get real! Those are such different issues there is no comparison. One's skin color is something one is born with- worthy of equality. Gayness is a choice- a temptation just like any other temptation. And if you want to prove otherwise, please be aware that there is no such thing as a gay gene! Nope, never been proven even though the media would brainwash you to believe otherwise. I am wondering what will be made "acceptable" next.... Polygamy? Pedifilia? Murder? Rape? Incest?

...about shutting down part of the city in reaction to the Adult Swim campaign of lit and wired boxes throughout the city? Personally, I'm not shocked by Boston's reaction. They are always more careful. I think that niether Turner Broadcasting nor anyone else has the right to commandeer public property and cause trouble to provide free advertising for themselves. Do you think Turner should pay back the city of Boston and state of Massachusetts for the $1M expenses incurred?

If the intention of the party is racist, why do people get all mad? Blacks DO wear bling, grills, and tooth caps. Hell, the most popular people in black culture GLORIFY those things, as well has malt liquor. Rap videos are full of women shaking those big booties. So if a bunch of college kids get together, drink colt-45, wear baggy jeans, and grills on their teeth, why is that offensive? And if you find it offensive, why do you not find the rappers and sports figures who do the same thing offensive?

Question no. 1: Is it just me or do the US authorities, and even worse, the judges, overreact and behave unreasonably childish in relation to this harmless and actually quite cool PR stunt?

Surely nobody involved could have even dreamed of being accused of planting hoax bombs all over the US.

Question no. 2: Could this happen in the UK?
