This question is about the terrorism and not communal conflicts.
This man has tackled terrorism issues wisely and hence he is very popular in Gujarat, no matter the poison media has been vomiting against him. Indian politics has many faces and each face depends on the hot issue of a particular territory. But, he dealt properly on the burning issue in his territory.

It seems there's this whole big denial thing going on because people hear the 'big' news about global warming and the like but don't want to have to change things in their 'small' world. Like, a lot of people would be "Well, a big four wheel drive is envorinmentally unsound, but I feel safer on the road, which has more direct impact on my life", or "Well, I could take a coffee cup to work, but then I'd have to wash it, and I'm busy", or "Well, even if I do reduce my disposable waste consumption, my neighbours are still going to put their cans of special brew in the bin, so what's the point?"

What do you think?

Rich people could still carry on having their luxury life style, ie, driving a big car, having a private yacht, etc. at the end of the day they are gift of God, don’t they? So God w’d reverse the climate change ;-) for the rich people ;-)

When I joined the military I had to take the following oath.....:
"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

and according to wikipedia:
Most definitions of terrorism include only those acts which are: intended to create fear or "terror,"

and based on the oath of the military shouldn't we be Having the United States Marines wipe there little ars-holes out?

My GOD, what the hell is wrong with these people (the sunni and shiite extremists)? I just watched Anderson Cooper do an interview and it's amazing. 30 to 50 bodies are found EVERY morning, tortured, maimed, absolultely brutalized, and for what? Could you imagine if Republicans and Democrats had used kidnapping and bombings to try and get power last election? Do these people realize that they are SCREWING IRAQ OVER? Whether the war was moral or not is beside the point. The violence that is taking place now is not under ANY circumstance justified by the actions of the US and it's allies.

Do you agree with me? What do you think?

I'm sick of hearing about car bombs and dead bodies every day, the Iraqi people have to wake up and join the civilized world or we might as well just give up because the terrorists will overrun that country.

First let me make clear that the majority muslims are decent law abiding people and it is just unfortunate that they are linked to murderous terrorist scum.

99% of muslims are not terrorists, but how many support this islam terrrorism. They may not have the connections or the determination to partipicate in terrorist behaviour, but they can still support , condone or encourage it.

In the Guardian article “What young British Muslims say can be shocking - some of it is also true” cites a poll that found
that nearly a third of young Muslims thought the 7/7 London Bombings were 'justified' due the Britain's support on the war on terror

From a personal standpoint, the only reason i ask is , because my friend who is of the muslim faith and has said things that has condoned terrorist behaviour.
Once we're walking past a CO-OP and she just randomly said "I would love to leave a bomb outside there' In actual reality she wouldnt hurt a fly.

What you think???

why are we fighting a war that will never end? why aren't we searching and fighting against the cause of sep 11? Have we forgotten sep 11? I guess along the way we deserted our original play of fighting terrorism to spreading democracy? We should be searching for Bin Laden and not theaten the us with more terriorism? I think Bush is finishing what his father tried but couldn't. While we complain here in the us for ipods and gas prices, people are dieing for that right in the first place. To get success, we must first accept defeat.
