The devices were glow in the dark and lit up. The folks tasked with protecting us surely cannot be so stupid as to think these were bombs. I think there are whole lot of law enforcement officers bored and looking for some action.

What say you? Am I off my rocker...or are they?

Why is the goverment freaking out over this? I guess lite-brites made then cry in the 80's.

NARF.

I hate the fact that we are so parinoid that we cant even do some sort of clever marketing without being accused of bombing a city. This was all over the newspapers, this wasn't a surprise, and many other cities had it all around.

Boston should pay more attention to their newspapers insted of thinking it was all 'Die Hard" in the city yesterday.

Besides, If i was a terroist, Boston would probably be the last place I would hit.

I was just watching a MSNBC news report saying the American Congress passed some Bill. Why? What was wrong with the old way?

Would it have been better spent on eliminating our need for foreign oil and thereby cutting off the source of funding for the Islamic terrorist?

"China was the most important supplier to Iran's program to produce uranium compounds, including uranium hexafluoride, the highly corrosive gas used in centrifuges"

http://www.thebulletin.org/article.php?art_ofn=ma04albright

This is from the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists(a famous journal that talks about nuclear bombs, wmd, etc).

Russia has refused to supply uranium to Iran for its reactor until Iran agreed to specific conditions. Russia wants full control of the uranium going in and out of the reactor. Russia doesn't want Iranian nukes given to terrorists to be exploded in Russia. Iran supplies weapons to terrorists in Russia.

Iran doesn't need nuclear reactors. Iran has the second largest natural gas supplies in the entire world. It is has enough natural gas to power the country for hundreds of years.

I am trying to be politically correct-first it was WMD's-then 400 billion on regime change-now we are at the War on Terror-sectarian etc. Bush is a true bungler...we should take care of our own people.

Suddenly Iran is getting all this negative media attention, and being blamed for the in-fighting that is occuring in Iraq. Why Bush accepts no responsibility for this is beyond me. Would it not be convenient for Bush to use this as an excuse to invade Iran? The excuse he used for Iraq was "weapons of mass destruction". Will he dare to use the same excuse for Iran?

Here's your chance to denounce violence, do you?
Do you condone terrorism?
Would you "shop" somebody in your community, if you thought that they might commit acts of terrorism?
Should communities conform more to British law and ways of life?
Do you support Sharia law?

Please only answer this if you are Muslim or Islamic. Let's hear their views and responses to the above.

The latest in the merry mix of fantasy statements is from.....

French President Jacques Chirac who made the comments to two (2) U.S. newspapers and a French magazine BUT then called the reporters back for another interview the next day and said he thought he was speaking off the record.

"What is dangerous about this situation is not the fact of having a nuclear bomb -- having one, maybe a second one a little later, well, that's not very dangerous," Chirac, was quoted as telling the reporters from the International Herald Tribune and New York Times newspapers, and weekly Le Nouvel Observateur.

Chirac's office said the decision to publish the remarks was an attempt to spark "a shameful scandal."

Did anyone every hear of giving an interveiw and NOT believing your remarks would be published or reported?

When I first looked at the headline of this article:
Doctors warn of poisoning from hand gels
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070131/hl_nm/handgels_dc;_ylt=Aix2eR0IUX4M1geAmj8xqgus0NUE;_ylu=X3oDMTA3ODdxdHBhBHNlYwM5NjQ-
I assumed there was some sort of actual danger here. Turns out people are drinking it, and doctors suggest that manufacturers change the labeling on hand sanitizers so it does not cause people to think there is ethanol in their products.

What do you think about this article?

You would think that they would've notified and/or got permission to place these items on public property. A "no brainer" in these times of terrorists.....but evidently....noone at Turner has any brains.
