I assumed there was some sort of actual danger here. Turns out people are drinking it, and doctors suggest that manufacturers change the labeling on hand sanitizers so it does not cause people to think there is ethanol in their products.

I say keep the labels. If people are stupid enough to drink the stuff than they can deserve to go through the pain that comes with ingesting the stuff. The world is overcrowded enough as it is so why try to save the ones stupid enough to drink hand sanitizer because they thought it could get them drunk.

Yea, I kinda laughed when I picked up a bottle of purell and saw that it was like 70 % ethyl alcohol. Ethyl alcohol is the same kind of alcohol in whiskey or beer. &0% means that its pretty potent, 140 proof, I think the danger of drinking it would be drinking to much and being poisoned by alcohol, that would take drinking alot more than what is in those little bottled, more like a couple pints or somethng, anyway why drink purell when you can just go get a bottle of 151 rum.

I think people who are stupid enough to drink hand sanitizers probably should die. The world's population is growing too quickly anyway. If we can weed out these hand sanitizer drinking people maybe we can raise the national intelligence average a little bit.
