There are governments today that use Hi-Tech to manipulate not only their own people, but to coerce other societies into compliance, with or without the knowlegde of the victims! Manipulating people into compliance with electronic waves or implants (with or without the knowledge and consent of the subjects), is nothing but sheer slavery! Slavery or neo-slavery is alive and well! And, this is not Science Fiction! Please see:

Slavery exist in this country today. Wasn't that little boy, who was taken and held for 4 years, a slave? I suspect that there are thousands of women and children held against their will, and forced to do the bidding of their captor. That is slavery.

YES! It's still common in parts of west Africa. Amnesty international is working to help stop this.

Yes it is a problem. I could use a slave but have no idea where to buy one. I'm not a racist or prejudiced either. Any race, ethnicity, or gender of slave would be fine with me as long as they're old enough to work but not to old.
